Court Jester began retelling everything that he explained to the rest of the team earlier to Alex. Zero became bored once Alex asked what the seven sources were; he went to research with Jab, Mari, and Ralda. Ruby, however, was actually paying attention to Court Jester's lecture for the second time. Alex listened very intently to everything he was saying. Alex even asked questions, which seemed to please Court Jester greatly. Ruby sometimes gave the answers when she knew them. It was almost like a small class, with Court Jester as the teacher.

"So, both of these places are important, right?" Alex asked.

"Very much so," Court Jester answered, "both of these temples are sources of energy. If someone could find the heart of either of these temples, he could gain much power from the elemental source."

"Or she!" Ruby added.

"I think I have an idea." Alex announced.

Court Jester gave him a smug smirk. "What are you thinking of doing? Hm? Are you going to try to steal the power of the temple?" he mocked. He still had a grudge against Alex, who had formerly been a thief and had stolen from him. "You're going to sneak into the temple just like you snuck into my Cheese Bakery?"

Alex gave Court Jester a cross look. Alex was very uncomfortable with his past. Shortly, though, he straightened up and answered Court Jester's question. "Exactly."

Court Jester stared at Ales in a confused shock. He could not decide whether to be impressed with himself for guessing correctly or disgusted that Alex was being serious.

"Atta boy, Alex!" cheered Ruby, "That's a way to make good use of your skills." She leaped over to Alex and gave him two hearty pats on the back.

Court Jester regained his composure just as Zero came barging into the room, followed by Jab, Mari, and Ralda.

"We found out all about the temple!" shouted Ralda, excitedly waving dead trout about like pom-poms.

"Well, Zero and I, mostly," noted Mari.

"Hey! I found the book for you, Marrums," Jab added, "wasn't that awesomely awesome of me?"

Mari blushed slightly. "Well, of course it was," She said. Jab swooned over her.

Zero began explaining, "We discovered that the line ends somewhere near the temple of Nuemia. It is found in the middle of a huge desert, which is logically named 'the Nuemian desert.' We think it could be a very important place for many reasons."

"It's in the middle of the desert? Is it the temple of the earth?" Alex asked.

"No," Mari answered, "it's the temple of the wind."

"Why would a wind temple be in the desert?"

"Probably," Court Jester began to explain, "because wind can travel more easily in the desert."

"Why...?"

"Do you have to question everything, Alex?" interrupted Zero.
