Court Jester continued to stare blankly at Ruby until Ralda impatiently slapped him with her trout. "More hyper thistles!"

"Hypothesis..." mumbled Court Jester, prompting another trout slap from Ralda.

Zero leaped into the line of fire and grasped the dead fish, wrestling with Ralda to prevent it from arriving at Court Jester's face once again. "Please continue." Zero grunted.

"Yes, well," Court Jester started again, "all of this energy in all of its forms comes from seven sources, that is, so far as my studies have discovered. The seven sources are fire, water, electricity..."

"Electricity?" Ruby asked, puzzled. "Wazzat?"

"It's what makes this ship work." Zero explained. "The most common display of electrical energy is lightning. Do you understand lightning, Ruby?"

Ruby nodded.

Court Jester continued his lecture. "The seven sources of energy are fire, water, electricity, light, darkness, the wind, and the earth. These sources are commonly referred to as 'elements.' Legend suggests that temples were built all over this planet to house the pure power of each of these elements. Ever since Ruby showed me her powers, I've begun to wonder if she came from one of these temples..."

Everyone's attention turned from Court Jester to Ruby. Ruby turned her head down as everyone else began asking if she really was from one of the elemental temples. She stayed quiet. Finally, Ralda got tired of waiting and smacked Ruby on the head with a rather large trout. "C'mon! Do you know something about this or not?"

Ruby returned her head upright and answered, "In my homeland of Jorica Jungle, there is a temple. My temple is the source of fire!"

Everyone looked at Ruby in amazement, and Court Jester beamed. "Just as I thought...

"The Dark Matter seems to be moving to prevent us from accessing the power of these elemental temples. I've noticed that there are two places the Dark Matter has protected most predominantly. Zero, would you bring the map on screen?"

Zero swung around in his command chair and started typing commands into the computer. A scan map began appearing piece-by-piece, showing cities, landmarks, and anything notable on the entire planet. Court Jester pointed to an island off the coast of a very large continent. "This is one of those places."

"Jorica Island!" Shrieked Ruby. The textures and shapes on the scan were unlike the last. "It's being taken over by bad creatures!" Ruby continued to fret, and her rage began to build.

Court Jester pointed out a line of irregular shapes and textures that appeared on the map. His finger followed it until it reached another large patch of irregular textures. "This seems to be another place which is well-guarded. It is probably another one of the element temples."

The control room opened, and everyone in the room turned to see who was coming. Alex stepped into the room. "Hey everyone, what's the plan?"

"We're developing one right now." Zero replied. "Court Jester says the armies of the Dark Matter are gathering in places which will block our ship's path. Do you have any ideas?"
