Reading Harry Potter To Children
It's important to me that adults read to their children. Once your child is old enough to understand the Harry Potter books and trully enjoy them (about 6-7+), I suggest you read the books to your children on a regular basis. Try every night, or a few times a week. Here are a few tips to helping your children enjoy the books even MORE!
- Give them the Harry Potter action figures based on the movie. Your kids will enjoy acting out their favorite scenes from the books.
- Purchase your children the Harry Potter movie! They'll love watching their favorite book come to life!
- Dress your child like a Harry Potter character for Halloween! It's lots of fun and your child will love it! You can purchase official Hogwarts robes at WB Store or make your own!
- Introduce your children to various types of fantasy! Not much compares to Harry Potter, but your kids are sure to love other fictitious novels such as 'A Series of Unfortunate Events' and 'The Chronicles of Narnia' (one of J.K. Rowling's personal favorites)
- Ask PhoenixNet! Are you and your child both confused about something in Harry Potter? Need advice on what Harry Potter related items you should purchase? No problem, just send an email in the direction of [email protected]
- Buy your child Harry Potter candy! All kids love candy, now they can have fun eating candy from the books they love! Berite Bott's Every Flavor Beans and Chocolate Frogs (with collectable wizard cards!) are now on the market!
