PhoenixNet :: Better Than All The Rest
|
It's For All Ages!
PhoenixNet is well aware that many adults reject the Harry Potter books as "kids' stories" and that the books can't possibly be good enough for an adult to enjoy. I think otherwise! Here are some facts, quotes, and other miscellaneous items to prove my point.
- In Great Britain, the books became very popular with parents of Harry Potter fans. However, the adults complained that reading a book with a cartoon-like cover that was obviously childish, it was embarassing to read the books in public.

- Mature content is somewhat displayed in the books. (Swearing, attractions)
- J.K. Rowling is an adult. She wrote the books for her enjoyment, so chances are other adults will enjoy it.
- There will be relationships in the following books
- The books are very dark and discuss the battles of good and evil.
