Harry had been trying to tolerate her all week, when one night she insulted Harry and his late parents, and Harry exploded- or rather he made Aunt Marge explode. The Dursleys flipped out and Harry got scared and ran away. He ended up in Magnolia Crescent, where the Knight Bus picked him up. The Knight Bus dropped Harry off in Diagon Alley. Harry met Cornelius Fudge there, and found out that the Ministry of Magic was not angry with him for exploding his aunt. Harry had to stay in Diagon Alley until school started. After a few days, the Weasleys and Hermione met up with him and stayed in the Leaky Cauldron with him. When school started, the Weasleys took Harry to Kings Cross. Once Harry got to school, he missed the Sorting because Professor McGonagall took he and Hermione to her office to discuss something. Throughout the school year, Dementors guarded the entrances to Hogwarts because it was believed that a convicted murderer named Sirius Black was attempting to break in to Hogwarts. Harry discovered that there was an unguarded entrance to the school when Fred and George Weasley give him the Marader's Map. Harry also uses this map to get into Hogsmeade village. At the end of the year, Harry saw Sirius Black in animagi form dragging Ron into an entrance from the Whomping Willow into the Shrieking Shack. ...To find out what happened in the Shrieking Shack, read the book! |
