Images of Cambantug falls and hot spring

Contrary to rumors, not all the areas with hotsprings within the PNOC drilling sites are being utilized by the mammoth energy company. One such site is just near our farm in Sityo Cambantug, Brgy. Lake Danao. Its existence was revealed to us by members of the peoples organization in the area, saying they used to visit the place whenever somebody in the family or neighborhood is sicked with skin disease.

Being curious as cats, we visited the site one day, with Eddie as our guide. Eddie is a member of a peoples organization, the CIGEFA, and has a farm nearby. He lives in Cambantug. Below are some of the pictures we took

The area is an abundant source of water. Here one finds a local contraption attached to the source. Our guide Eddie, a native of Sityo Cambantug, poses before the cam. He is a member of a local organization

The community organizer and and a friend bathe under the falls.
