AMA students do community work at 'the farm'

Milagro, Ormoc City - AMA Computer Learning Center Community Work Training Service students numbering more than 20 held a Farewell Party at the Pagtinabangay Foundation Ecology Farm on March 11, 2006. Aside from having completed 56 hours of Community Work, this group of CWTS students under Mr. Arthur Olorvida, also donated to the Farm a set of volleyball and a set of badminton for the kids in the community near the Farm.

The CWTS did some help in the farm - mulching, applying organic fertilizer, under-brushing, teaching the kids some songs and inter-acting with the community All Philippine College students now are required to accomplish 56 hours of Community Service in lieu of the Reserve Officers Training Course that was abandoned as a result of petitions from students and parents years back.
