Using the Personal Address Book in Microsoft Exchange

Ok a quick run down of what happens when you run the inbox setup wizard under the exchange client. A personal address book is created for each user id that is created.

Incase you don't know, here's some of the personal address features:

  • The ability to select names from other address books.
  • Change names, addresses and other information
  • The ability to import address from other address books.
  • Being able to create mailing list group.

To select a name in the address book:
Click on tool menu -> address book -> personal address book in the show names from box -> "names are displayed" -> "pick one"

To modify the name and address, just follow the above and then just double click on a name and you should be able to change the properties.
