| We, the writers, are going to tell you all about how "Secrets: Passions Unlocked" got started. Back in 1999 The headwriter and Creator , Timmothy Meadow, of SPU was watching "Passions" and thought, "There is no way in heck that this show is going to last." So he decided to write an alternative ending for it incase it did. Don't get him wrong, he loves the show. And will continue to watch it until the end. (Whenever that is) He made the storylines and the plotlines and all of the characters back in the summer of 2000. He put it off for a year and 4 months to see if Passions would last another year. And yet it did. He was ready to put (SPU) the story away until one of his friends, secondary writer, Denise Roberts read it. She was amased with it and decided to post it on her Passions website, called "The Passions Box". The entire first season (21 episodes) was written and posted on the site, all which were written by Timmothy Meadow. The story premiered on The Passions Box website on October 16, 2001 and ended on December 21. Denise didn't want Timmothy to rush into a second season just yet, she wanted to wait and see how the fans reacted but he wrote the first 10 episodes of season 2 anyway. When Denise did a poll on how the story was doing, the first 10 episodes of season 2 were ready to be posted.. Since the Passions Box no longer lasts, we had to make our own website so the viewers could read it. Even though the schedule and airtime has changed much since it premiered, it is still doing great, and the fans are liking it.
