| Miguel and Kay�s House 9:50am (She bends over to pick up the coins and sees the little paper Miguel needs.) Miguel: No!! Kay: What is this? Miguel: Oh my god. Don�t read it� Miguel: What was I thinking? (Kay opens the paper up and reads it) Kay: (Looking at it carefully.) Hmm� I should have known. Kay: I can�t even read this! There�s a phone number but I can�t make out the name. Hmm. It must be Miguel�s, I hope he doesn�t yell at me. I wouldn�t want that. (She puts the paper down on the counter and runs upstairs to get ready to go with Jessica to the mall.) (Miguel comes up from underneath the table and checks to see if the coast is clear.) Miguel: Good Grief. (He goes over to the counter to see the paper) Miguel: It�s all smeared. Thank god. I hope she never sees what�s on this paper. (He looks for a piece of paper, and a pen to re-write what was on the old one) Miguel: There. He throws the pen in his pocket. And slips the paper in his wallet. (A bunch of money falls out of his pocket, as he set�s the wallet on the counter.) Miguel: Dammit. (He picks the change up and puts it in his pocket.) (He suddenly hears Kay coming downstairs) Miguel: I better get out of here. (He puts his jacket back on and runs threw the living room and out the front door. (Kay comes downstairs to eat her sandwich) Kay: Dang it. Okay. I got the VCR set. And I turned everything off upstairs. Let�s see what else? (She looks over at the counter to see Miguel�s wallet sitting there) Kay: What the�? It�s Miguel�s wallet. But I saw him take it this morning. And it wasn�t here when I set that paper�. (Comes to a conclusion) The paper! It�s gone! Okay. Don�t get in a panic Kay. Miguel probably forgot he even had the number and paper and just plain thought he misplaced it or something. Yes, that�s it. Kay: Hey!! I�m going to need some money for shopping. Might as well take a few 5�s or 50�s. (She opens the wallet) ~Harmony Cafe?~ Timmy: I got the food for us Tabby. Tabitha: Oh good Tim Tim. Let�s go. Before somebody sees us� (They walk to the sidewalk and check to see if anybody is coming and she spots Theresa and Noah coming down the sidewalk) (Tabby and Timmy hide behind a dumpster.) Timmy: What�s wrong Tabby? Tabitha: It�s Theresa, and her friend Noah Bennett. Tabitha: Come on let�s go the other way. If Noah saw me, we�d sure be in a lot of trouble. Timmy: What do you mean? Tabitha: I�ll tell you when we get back at the boathouse. ~Simone�s Apartment~ (Simone is on her computer) Simone: Now. It�s time to see what really happened on the night Charity died. (On a search engine on the Internet she types in �New England: 2002 St.Tyler�s cliff accident involving Charity Standish�) (As she scrolls down the results of the search she comes across a headline entitled �New England Girl Dies on St. Tyler�s Cliff.� She clicks on it) Simone: Oh my god. (She reads upon it) Hear it say�s, �On the night of December 15, 2002. Charity Standish died on St. Tyler�s cliff, she walks walking with her friends Kay Bennett and Miguel Lopez-Fitzgerald when she accidentally fell off the cliff falling to her death 6,400 feet in the air.� Wait a minute, I didn�t know Miguel was with Kay and Charity when it happened. Oh. Must have gone somewhere else while it occurred. Oh good here�s a picture. (She reads) �A picture of the accident was taken from a local citizen just below them while she was holding on to a twig.� (She looks at the picture) What the? (The picture shows that Kay was holding on to Charity�s left hand) (She looks at more pictures. Before, After, and when it occurred.) I better print this whole page. And the pictures. (She sends it to print.) This is all of the things I need to prove that Kay did push Charity off the cliff.) (She picks up the phone and dials a number, she waits for somebody to pick up the phone) Simone: Hello? Yes. Hi. I�m calling about a reservation to stay at the St. Tyler Inn. Yes. I�m not sure how long I�ll be there. I�m guessing about a week or so. Okay. I�ll be there about 3:00 this evening. Okay. Thanks. Yes I�ll enjoy my stay. Thank you. (She finishes as the papers finish printing.) Simone: Good. This is going to be one fantastic week for me. Kay will finally get what she deserves. It�s to bad. I really liked her. Well it�s her own fault for pushing Charity off the cliff. (The phone rings) Simone: Oh great! It�s Kay. Sorry. Kay. You can�t know where I�m going. Not until after I expose you. (She shoves the papers she printed into her backpack.) (And leaves) ~Harmony Caf�~ Waiter: Good afternoon. Can I take your order? Noah: Yeah. I�d like a strawberry milkshake. With some fries and maybe a chicken sandwich. Theresa: I�ll have the same thing but just a chocolate milkshake. Waiter: Okay. I�ll be back with your order in just a moment. Noah: So ah. Why didn�t you go to college? Theresa: We had no money to pay for it. Besides. I had a couple of problems to work out. Noah: I understand. Noah: This is great Theresa. Having lunch with you is what I�ve always dreamed of. Theresa: What? Noah: Um. I mean� I always admired you. You�re a great person. That�s what I meant. Theresa: Oh. (The waiter comes back with a weird look on his face) Noah: Where�s our food? Waiter: Um. We�re out of milkshakes, chicken sandwiches and fries. Theresa: What? Noah: That�s odd. Can�t you just make more? Waiter. Our. Stove is gone to. Noah: What? Theresa: Where you robbed? Waiter: I don�t know. One minute we�re cooking chicken popcorn and when I got back the stove was gone. Theresa: Okay. Waiter: I�m terribly sorry. I�ll see what�s going on. Noah: Um. I think we�ll just go to the dairy queen down the road. Theresa: (Getting up) That�s weird. (Laughing) I wonder what happened? Noah: I don�t know but let�s go get a banana split. (Picking up his jacket) (They leave the cafe?) ~Light House~ Timmy: (Cooking on his new stove) This is great. Tabitha: (Drinking her martimmy) How did you manage to get their stove Timmy? Timmy: I changed it to compact size and put it in the bag you gave me, along with their milkshakes. That�s what wizards do. Tabitha: Oh. This is the good life! Tabitha: Oh. It�s getting dark out Timmy. The red fog is returning soon. Timmy: What do you mean? Tabitha: The red fog is returning to New Harmony. It�s going to put everyone in his or her place. Timmy: Oh. That�s nice. Do you want ketchup on your fries? Tabitha: No. Just some salt will be just fine. Timmy: Here you go Tabby. Tabitha: Thanks lad. Timmy: Now I�m going to go get my chicken sandwich and we�ll turn on the TV and watch Bewitched. Tabitha: Hey Timmy why don�t you go fetch me another Martimmy? (She gives him the glass as they hear a crash coming from the pantry.) Timmy: What was that? ~Miguel�s Office~ (The phone rings) Miguel: Hello? Lady: Good afternoon sir. Your wife is here to see you. Miguel: Okay. Send her in. Kay: Hi Miguel. I�m so glad to see you. Miguel: Hey honey. (Kisses her) Miguel: What are you doing here? Kay: You left your wallet on the counter this morning. I came to bring it to you on my way to the mall. Jessica is outside waiting. So I wont be long. Miguel: (Shocked) Um� you didn�t open it did you? Kay: Why? What is something missing. I didn�t take anything if that�s what you are saying. Miguel: No. Not at all. I just wanted to know. Kay: Okay. I�m going to go now. I�ll see you tomorrow. I�m leaving tonight at 5:00. Miguel: Okay. (Miguel walks Kay to the door as she kisses him goodbye) Miguel: Seeya. (He shuts the door) Miguel: (He opens the wallet to see the paper missing.) Kay: Good. He doesn�t know I took 50$ from his wallet. That was close. Miguel: Where is it? I put it between a 50-dollar bill! Where is it? (He opens the door to see that Kay is gone) Miguel: Great!!! What am I going to do if she calls the phone number and finds out what I�ve been doing!!! (He rushes to the window to see Kay getting into her car.) Miguel: I�ve got to follow her!!! (He leaves storming out of his office) Miranda the office assistant: Where are you going? Miguel: Family emergency. I�ve got to go. Miranda: You cam in late this morning. You can�t miss these hours. Miguel: I know. Just take it off my check. I�ll be back later. It�s real important. Miranda: All right. (He takes the elevator, and gets in his car) (He starts the car up as he leaves) Miguel: If I don�t get to her I�m going to be in big trouble. ~In Kay�s Car~ Jessica: What is that Kay? (Driving) Kay: Don�t tell Miguel but I took 50$ out of his wallet this morning. Jessica: Kay!!! Kay: I know. I don�t have any money. I�ll pay him back later. Jessica: Okay. Put it in your pocket so you don�t lose it. Kay: I don�t have a pocket. Jessica: Here. I�ll put it in my purse. Kay: Okay. (She gives the 50$ to Jessica and she puts it in her purse) (They arrive at the mall) Kay: I�m so excited!! I want to bye that new blouse they have on sale. Jessica: Yeah. It would look great on you. Maybe the blue one. Kay: Yeah. Miguel: (Swerving behind them pulls into the parking lot) I have to get that 50$ off of her. ~Dairy Queen~ Noah: I only have enough for one banana split. Why don�t you take it? Theresa: No. It�s my fault I forgot my purse. Noah: Theresa, I want you to have it. Theresa: I can�t. Noah: Fine. Why don�t we both just share it? Theresa: Okay. (Let�s take it to the back where all of the tables are.) (They leave to the back as Qlinn and Gwen walk in) Qlinn: Where is Ethan? Gwen: He�s out side getting fresh air. Theresa: Oh. We forgot the napkins. I better go get them. Noah: No!!! Here. Take the banana split and I�ll go get the napkins. (Theresa sits at a table as Qlinn goes back into the Dairy Queen.) Noah: Oh no. Not you!!! (He looks at Gwen and Qlinn) Stay Tuned� |
