| Destination: St. Michaels Street Time: Around 8:45 Date: Christmas Eve Luis continues to drive the car as Sheridan sits in the passenger seat Luis: I can�t believe it Sheridan. We�re actually going to have a baby together? Sheridan: Uh-ha. Luis: This is great! We should celebrate! Sheridan: Luis! Luis: I think Kay and Miguel are having a party tonight. Let�s go. Sheridan: Luis! Luis: What is it Sheridan? Sheridan: Calm down. The baby isn�t due for another 7 months. Luis: Oh. Okay Sheridan. I�m just so happy! Sheridan: I can tell. Meanwhile at Gwen�s Party in Castleton Gwen: Mrs. Barkley! You need to come out of the bathroom! There is a very long line of people waiting to use it! (Gwen looks back at the 20 or so people standing in line for the bathroom) Guy: Look lady! I need to use the bathroom! Is that old lady coming out any time soon? Gwen: (Thinking) Oh jeez. What do I do? Umm�. Qlinn�s Bathroom! Guy: Well? Gwen: Okay everyone. You�ll all just have to use the bathroom downstairs in the basement. Stop at the refrigerator and there is a wooden door. Open it and go downstairs. There will be a billiard room. Keep going until you get to another door and their will be a bedroom. There�s a bathroom down their. No go! Go! Guy: Thank you. (Everyone in line rushes downstairs) Gwen: Now! Mrs. Barkley! Please�. Please. Come out of the bathroom! Mrs. Barkley: No! Leave me alone! Gwen: Oh god! Listen you old hag. I have more important things to do than standing here and trying to get you out of my bathroom. You can just die in there for all I care you stupid bitch! Mrs. Barkley: You are a rotten girl! Gwen: Whatever! (Gwen goes downstairs) Meanwhile Downstairs in the kitchen Hank: So Ethan� what have you been up to these past few years. How have you been holding up without Theresa? Gwen: (Coming downstairs) Oh no! Why did I leave him down here with him! Ethan: Theresa? What do you know about her? Hank: Well� what do you mean by that? Gwen: Ethan! I need you to go get more ice! Ethan: But I just bought 4 bags of ice at the county market, Gwen. I�m sick of driving all over town. Besides�. What the hell! There are still 3 bags in the freezer. Gwen: Oh. So there is! Um. Hank Can I talk to you in the living room? Ethan stay in here. Don�t go anywhere. (Hank and Gwen leave) Hank: Gwen! What is going on? Ethan acts as if he doesn�t even know me. And I get a strange feeling that he doesn�t know who Theresa is either! Gwen: That�s because he doesn�t! Hank: What? Gwen: I�m trying to keep Theresa from hurting Ethan anymore than she already has! Hank: What are you saying Gwen? Gwen: Ethan doesn�t remember anything before the fire. He had serious brain damage when Qlinn and I found him under a bunch of debris. (She continues to tell the story as she remembers it by memory) Flashback 4 years ago when the whole town of Harmony burned to ashes Gwen: I can't believe this... I�ve lost everything including Ethan.... I'm sorry I can't stay here... (Gwen runs and trips over a body) AHHH!!! ETHAN!!!! IT"S ETHAN!!!! Qlinn: Hurry up.... help me get this boulder off of him. He still has a pulse. He's still alive... Ethan: (Waking up) (While coughing) Where am I? Gwen: Ethan... I�m sorry I ran out of the mansion like that... I'm sorry. I know we can get Theresa out of our lives... if you'd just love me again the way I love you... Ethan: Umm... do I know you? Gwen: What? It's me. Gwen. Ethan: I'm sorry... I don't know any Gwen's. Qlinn: Um. Ethan Buddy. It's me QLinn. I'm one of your best friends from college. Gwen. I think he has amnesia. Gwen: NOOO!!!! You have to remember me Ethan. Remember the time we made love on the beach. The time we... QLinn: Gwen... can I talk to you for a minute. Gwen: What? QLinn: I'd hate to interrupt but... this is your big chance to get Ethan back.... (Gwen looks confused) Look. If he doesn't remember you, he won't remember Theresa. All you have to do is take Ethan and tell him that you and he were dating before he got Amnesia. It's a clean getaway. Gwen: Yes!!!! That's a great plan. Thank you QLinn. Gwen: Umm... Hi Ethan... I'm your Fianc�... (She shows him the ring) Ethan: Than who am I? Qlinn: You're Ethan Winthrop. Gwen: Come with me and QLinn, Ethan. So we can help you. QLinn: We'll take you to my place. FLASHBACK ENDS Gwen: When we got him here. We had to take him to the hospital because he kept blacking out. The doctor said that he needed to take it easy and stay away from mixed emotions. Hank: I don�t understand. How are mixed emotions going to hurt him? Gwen: I don�t. He just doesn�t need Theresa coming back into his life after what she did to him. Hank: But he still loves her! Can�t you see that? Besides, I thought we were a couple now. Gwen: We are Hank! It�s just that I don�t want him to be hurt again. I�m serious. If Theresa and Ethan meet again. He could die. I�m not lying to you Hank. Hank: I�m not buying that Gwen. It doesn�t even make sense. I think you still have feelings for him. Gwen: I do not! I just don�t want him to get hurt! Hank: Whatever Gwen! I have better things to do. Oh. And here comes Theresa now. And she�s with Noah. Noah: Uncle Hank! Hank: Hi. Noah. What�ve you been up to? Noah: Nothing much. Just trying to get by. Theresa: Gwen. Do you mind moving? I need to use the bathroom. And someone told me that I have to use the one downstairs because some crazy old lady is stuck in the one upstairs. So can you kindly get out of my way? Gwen: Hank. Can you help me out here? (She blinks at him) Hank: No. You�re on your own. Gwen! I�ll talk to you later Noah. (Hank goes into the kitchen) Hank: Come on Ethan. Gwen wants you out in the living room. Ethan: Okay. (Ethan heads for the living room) Hank: No! Ethan�. We better take the other way and cut through the dinging room. Ethan: Why? Hank: Somebody spilled punch all over the floor. It�s a big mess. (They both leave out through the dining room) Gwen: No. Theresa don�t go in there! Theresa: (Rushing in) What are you trying to hide, Gwen? Gwen: (Noticing that Ethan and Hank are gone) Nothing! Theresa: Okay. Whatever! Noah hold my purse. I�ll be back up in a few minutes. (Theresa goes downstairs to the bathroom) (She walks into the billiard room and into Qlinn�s bedroom) Theresa: Qlinn? Hmm� he must not be here. (She walks straight past his bed, Qlinn is still unconscious as he lies on the opposite side of the bed on the floor) Theresa: (In the bathroom) This place is a mess. Just like Qlinn. (Theresa powders her nose) Theresa: There. (She heads for the door as she trips over a towel) (She falls flat on her face) Theresa: Ouch. Damn you Qlinn. (She turns her face as she sees a hand sticking from under the bed) Theresa: Oh my god! (She starts to panic) What�. What is that? (She starts to get closer to the bed, crawling on her knees) (She lifts the blanket up over the bed and sees an arm)) Theresa: okay. Theresa. Don�t be afraid. Just go and look. (She gets up and walks around the bed.) Theresa: Qlinn! What is he doing? (Theresa looks down at him) Theresa: (She checks his pulse) He�s still alive. Maybe he fell asleep after he took a shower or something. (She tries to wake him up, but can�t) Theresa: Hmm. (She decides to lift him up onto the bed) (She struggles as she pulls him up onto the bed, Gwen comes in) Gwen: What the hell? Theresa! Oh my god! You killed him! Theresa: No! No I didn�t! I found him like this! Gwen: I�m calling the police! (She runs upstairs) Theresa: I didn�t! Gwen! Oh my god! (She lifts him up onto the bed and pulls a blanket over him) Meanwhile on St. Michaels Street Bridge Luis: Wait a minute. Sheridan. Didn�t we just go past this bridge? (Confused) Sheridan: Yes. I think we did. Luis: Then what the hell us going on? Sheridan: I don�t know. Luis: (A car heads past them, they have their high beams on) AHH!!! Turn off your lights! (The car gets closer as the very bright lights blind Sheridan and Luis both) (Luis loses control of the car as he drives it off of the bridge) (Up in the sky, Antonio and Tabitha are watching) Tabitha: Ha.
