~St. Tyler's Cliff Resort~ 6:00 pm Simone stands in front of the cabin door Simone: Well this is it... cabin # 3 the same cabin we stayed in when Charity died. (She touches the doorknob and gets a chill) Simone: My god... that was weird. (She opens the door and enters the cabin.) Simone: Wow. Not much has changed since we left... Tim: That's cause nobody has bought it since the ghost. Simone: AHHH!!! Oh my god you scared me... who are you? Tim: Oh, I'm sorry dear. I'm Tim Meadows. I work here at the resort. I came to tell you that you could change your cabin if you want to. Simone: Why would I want to do that? Tim: Because of the ghost. Simone: What ghost? Tim: The ghost that haunts this cabin. The ghost of Charity Standish. Simone: (Laughing) What? Are you kidding me? Charity Standish was a close friend of mine. She died 4 years ago. Tim: Yes. I know. Like I said you are free to change cabins. Simone: No. If I run into any ghost I�ll be sure to tell you. Tim: No. You can't stay here. Simone: Why not. Tim: Now. I know it sounds a little crazy to you but I�ve seen her walking threw the halls late at night. They say she comes back every December 14 to seek revenge on the people who killed her. Simone: Wait a minute. What do you mean �The people who killed her�? Her death was an accident. And she died on December 15 not the 14. Tim: Yes. Of course. Well if you change your mind just give me a call. (Leaving) Simone: Wait a minute. Tim: Did you change your mind? Simone: No. Actually I've got a question for you about Charity Standish. ~Miguel's House~ (Miguel, just getting home) Miguel: I can't believe I was almost arrested. Thank God that old lady croaked before she told everyone what I did to her. All I have to do is go to her funeral and I�m off skin free. I'm just glad that Paper is gone. If somebody found that paper, I don't know what I'd do. (The phone rings) Miguel: Hello? ... Yeah hi. I'm sorry I couldn't call you earlier.... you know what. I'm not in the mood tonight. I just got off one hectic day of work...yeah. Okay. How about we meet for lunch tomorrow. Look. I kinds lost your phone number again. So can I just give you my cell phone number? I know. Okay... the number is 555-5560. Okay honey. I'll see you tomorrow. Miguel: I'm going to get something to eat and go watch Green Acres. Hmm.... I�ve got to have a talk with Kay about taking money from my wallet. Hmm. I wonder where that 50$ ended up. I guess we'll never know. (He goes into the kitchen) (Turns the light on and sees Kay standing in the door way with 50$ in her hand.) Kay: Hi. Miguel. Miguel: Kay. You startled me. Why aren't you visiting your mom? Kay: She's dead. Miguel: What? Kay: She killed herself yesterday. They found her lying on the floor in blood. (Sounding Depressed) Miguel: Oh. Kay. I'm sorry... (Going to hug her) Kay: Stay away from me... Miguel: What? Kay: You heard me the first time Miguel. I said stay away from me... Miguel: Kay, where did that 50$ come from. Kay: I don't know. I found it in my shopping bag when I left the mall.... just as you were getting arrested. Miguel: I don't know what you're talking about. Kay: The hell you don't Miguel. (It suddenly starts to rain and thunder) Miguel: Kay, come in the door you are being poured on. Kay: Why Miguel? Why? Miguel: Please come in the door. You are soak and wet. Kay: I heard everything you said... I know what you've been up to. Miguel: Kay. You are being paranoid. So stop it. Kay: It's over. Miguel: (Dropping his jaw.) What? ~Dairy Queen~ Theresa: Did you just say what I thought you said? Gwen: Umm. Theresa: Did you just say that Ethan was outside? Gwen: No. I� I um. I said. It�s you�re fault Ethan is not alive. Theresa: Excuse me? (Walking up to Gwen putting her face right in front of hers) How could you accuse me of what happened the night of the explosion. When I was in the building when it happened? If you asked me I think you are the one that started it. You ran out of the building in a hurry as if you wanted revenge. It wasn�t but 20 minutes later everyone was fighting for their lives. And where were you? Gwen: I was off in the streets crying my eyes out. What else do you think I was doing? Theresa: I don�t think� Gwen: Why don�t you just mind your own business before I shut you up! Theresa: Okay, but if I ever found out you were the cause of Ethan�s and everyone else�s death, your butt will be mine Hotchkiss. Gwen: Oh, you don�t have to worry about that Theresa cause you can just kiss my ass. Theresa: I wouldn�t even dare Gwen. Lord knows where that ugly thing has been. Oh Gwen. Tell me, how is it that the mansion just suddenly blew up right after you left? (There is a pause and Qlinn wakes up) Gwen: Qlinn? (She rushes over to him) I thought that man killed you. You know Theresa, your not one to be talking. You still didn�t tell me why Qlinn was repeating your name over and over. What secret are you keeping? Theresa: I�m not keeping any secret. I think had a little too much today. Gwen: Fine. If you won�t tell me. Then I�ll just ask Qlinn when he wakes up. Theresa: No!!! Gwen: (Smiling) You�ve never sound so eager Theresa. Now I know you are keeping something from me. Theresa: I don�t have time for this. I need to go make sure my friend isn�t in trouble. Gwen: You mean your boyfriend? It sure didn�t take you long to find a new guy to sink your claws into after Ethan died. Who�d you still him away from, Jessica Biel? Theresa: Good one Gwen. Actually, that�s Noah Bennett. Also known as Ethan�s half-brother. Gwen: You�re kidding me right? That�s Noah Bennett? And I yelled at him. Oh my god. I need to talk to him. (Gwen leaves the room in a rush) Theresa: (Confused) That�s weird. What would she want to talk to Noah about? I don't care... I�ve got to talk to QLinn. Qlinn: Theresa... is that you? Theresa: Yes QLinn.... I need to talk to you. Qlinn: Somebody as beautiful as you? Of course sweet pea. Theresa: (Slapping him) Don't ever call me that. I need to ask you something. QLinn: Anything for you sweet pea. Theresa: Uhh! I need to know if you and I had a baby together? (Gwen walks in) Theresa: Tell me QLinn. I need to know... did we have a child the night you raped me? Gwen: Oh-ho. Qlinn: I don't know Theresa. I was drunk. I didn't know what I was doing. Theresa: You have to know. Qlinn: But I don't sweet pea. I'm telling you. (Still coming out of it) Gwen: Theresa.... why I don't understand is. How come you don't know if you are the one that had a baby? Theresa: (Shocked and Disturbed) Gwen? Gwen: Yes Theresa? Theresa: Please don't tell anybody. Gwen: But there is no need to. Ethan is dead. I have no reason to have revenge on you. Theresa: Huh? (Gwen helping Theresa up) Gwen: I'm going to tell you something I've never told anybody before.... I too. Had a baby when I was young. Theresa: Huh? Gwen: I know. I was heart broken when it died. I just couldn't give him up. I could I ever get over losing my first baby boy. The thing is, I wasn't expecting to get pregnant. It was because of a rape. And I too feel what you are feeling. The only thing is, I remember it. Look... why don't you tell me everything starting with QLinn raping you. Theresa: Wow. I can't get over this... what you are saying to me.... it's all true isn't it? Gwen: Look Theresa. I've been mad at you for to long. Now that Ethan is dead. Why don't we put the past behind us... bury the hatchet. Theresa: Okay. I will tell you everything... but you are going to tell me everything first. Gwen: Alright... It happened just when I turned 15. I was home for the summer and I decided to go take a walk in the park. And then HE came... the man of my dreams. Theresa: But I thought Ethan was... Gwen: Yes...He was... but what Ethan didn't know is that HE was the one I loved before him. Anyway... he It was very cold and he offered me a rid home. I could see that he was drunk and couldn't drive home for a million dollars. So I told him. Flashback Gwen: Maybe I should drive home Qlinn. Qlinn: But sweet pea. I'm capable of driving home myself. Now get in the car before I tell your mother and father you've been sneaking out of the house real late at night. Gwen: No. Don�t. I'll get in the car. (Gwen hops into the car) Gwen: Who's training bra with pink flowers and yellow dandelions is this? Qlinn: Umm... that's my... my sisters. Yeah that's it. Gwen: Okay.... I'm not even going to ask. Qlinn. I'm not sure it is a good idea that you drive home. You look kind of drunk. And your fly is down. QLinn: I know... (Qlinn pulls over behind a bunch of bushes) Gwen: What are you doing? QLinn: (Pulling off his shirt) Wow. Gwen: Why'd you take your shirt off? QLinn: Relax... I�m just a little hot. Whoa. Why don't you take your top off? Gwen: No. You know what, I think I�m going to walk home. (Qlinn pushes the electric lock button) QLinn: You aren't going anywhere tonight sweet pea... Gwen: No. Let me out. (Qlinn pulls her shirt off) Qlinn!!!! Why are you doing this? Qlinn: Relax.... just let the music take you with me. (While taking his belt off he turns up the radio) Gwen: No!!!!!! ~2 hours later~ Morning time Gwen wakes up naked in the front seat of the car. QLinn: Morning sweet pea. Gwen: (She realizes where she is) AHHHHH!!!!! Flashback ends Theresa: I can't believe Qlinn raped you too. He must of got to you after me... that was my training bra with the pink flowers and yellow dandelions not his sister's. Gwen: I can't believe this... Theresa: So why didn't you sue him? Gwen: The same reason you didn't Theresa.... Gwen and Theresa: He was rich and in charge.... ~St.Tylers Resort~ Tim: I don't have time to answer questions about anything.... Simone: Just listen.... what do you know about Charity Standish? Tim: I have to go... I'll check back on you later... (He leaves) Tim: Dammit. I can't let her be snooping around in that cabin... Simone: Fine then Mr. Meadows. I guess I just have to find out about you from my source... (She turns on her laptop) Simone: Let's see what the Internet has to say about you... (Sneaking around the window listening to Simone) Tim: I can't believe she is actually looking up dirt on me.... What do I do? Simone: Here it says... "On the night of Charity Standish's Death, this man photographed above has been known as suspect of why Charity Had fallen off the cliff. Tim meadows has been arrested in the past for previous acts of... (Her computer goes off.) What the hell? My electric is out!!! What happened? (Outside, Tim is standing next to the electricity box.) Tim: I had to do it... the only way to keep you from knowing... Simone: Now what am I suppose to do? (She leaves the house running down the hill to the main offices) Meanwhile Tim sneaks into the cabin and steals her laptop. He puts it in his backpack. And heads out the door. Tim: Next time I tell you to leave you will. Yeah stupid bitch. Hmm. Maybe that was a little harsh, nah. ~Miguel and Kay's House~ Miguel: What are you talking about? Jessica: (Appearing in the scene walks up to Miguel with a paper in her hand.) I'm sorry Miguel, but we found this inside the 50$ bill. (She hands the paper to Miguel) (He opens it and reads it) Miguel: It's a telephone number... Jessica: We called this number Miguel... and a girl answered it. She told us everything... Miguel: What? That's not true... Kay I would never cheat on you with another girl... I swear! Jessica: I'm sorry Miguel, but Kay is going to be staying with Reese and me for a while until you can work out your problems. And when you are ready. Give us a call. We'll be waiting. Come on dear. (Kay and Jessica leave off into the rain) (Getting into the car, Kay and Jessica ignore everything Miguel says.) Jessica: (Turning on her windshield wipers.) Are you going to be okay Kay? (She nods her head yes.) (Miguel, pounding on the windows of the car in the middle of the rain, begs Kay not to leave.) Miguel: No. Kay. Don't go. Stay with me... Nothing that woman said was true. I promise you. (As Miguel looks at Kay, Kay ignores depressingly.) Miguel: Kay. (Jessica drives off into the night as the red fog appears and the rain and lighting continue) Miguel: No wait... don't leave!!! Don't leave.... Stay Tuned...
