REALTORS
There
are many private realtors in Naples who cater to the NATO civilian and military
community. The military does not
promote private realtors, but you are authorized to use them if you desire.
Remember that showings from private realtors do not count toward your
two-per-week minimum. You should
never pay (or agree to pay) a private realtor.
They get the first month's rent from the landlord (a substantial amount
of money). Remember
that the realtor works for you. Do
not allow them to waste your time by showing you substandard houses.
Many of them are friendly, but they are also businesspersons and must try
to sell their stock. If you are willing to rent a substandard house because you
couldn't say "no" then they will be more than willing to help you out. If
you choose to use a private realtor, then just ask anyone around work.
Chances are that they have used, or know someone who has used, a private
realtor. You will also find
business cards posted on the various boards around AFSOUTH. There doesn't seem to be too many around the Naval Support
Activity (NSA) at Agnano. |
