At least Four of the shortcomings are basically due to our election system. Corruption, Communal division, Selfishness, Tendency to look for immediate gains are directly responsible. Illiteracy and Indifference of population are indirect products of present election system. Majority of people's representatives do wish the public should remain illiterate. General public found that whatever they could gain is only during election propaganda period and they could never have a chance till the next elections. This makes people indifferent to the political system. Hence, reforms are needed to effectively modify the system. There is no doubt other reforms shall be automatic. |

Normally largest single party or coalition with member strength of over 50% should be invited by the President/Governor, as the case may be for forming Government. President/Governor should find this solely from the election results submitted by the Election Commission. There should be no requirement of satisfying President/Governor regarding majority. Party or coalition partners should prove majority only on floor of the house. A time period of 6 working days should be given for the purpose. In case, the Government fails to get majority support and votes casted against are more than 50% of the strength of the house those members may be invited to select their leader and approach President/Governor to claim for forming Government within next 6 working days. |

What I found out was all of us are self centred, we worship wise people but never try to implement them in our lives. We limit our respect towards the wise persons in erecting their statues, garlanding once in a year or organising a public gathering on the dates of birth/death anniversary. Once we do this we are free to make money in the easiest way available to us. Education is the only solution for most of out problems and challenges. It is a long process but it is tested several times and found effective. To establish brotherhood there is no need take help of religion. In fact religion should not play any role in our public life. In today's contest religion should be limited to 'worship' only. Brotherhood can be established among people who have common interest and believe in laws of the nation and never forget the fundamental principle of the religion. |

Political Parties (15 August 2006) Political parties all over the world have members and active representatives. Active representatives have more all less full time job as politician. This leads to sole aim of getting elected or grabbing some office of advantage/profit. Naturally such person may choose a short cut for getting some office. He/She may spend some money for propaganda and for all other activities so as to be successful in grabbing office of profit. Such a situation leads to malpractice. There is an extreme necessity to find a solution for this problem so that the social workers need not be dependent on other sources of income. They should have only known sources of income. |
