Is India a Sovereign State?

America, Briton, China, and many other nations always advise India to keep away from war. These nations always advise to follow restraint against Pakistan. We always listen to these nations resulting in we fail to save our interest and loose a lot both in terms of blood and other resources. We are not able to control a handful of extremists. We need to accept that we are not independent. Others are controlling us.

We must accept this and search for our strength and weakness. We have to devise methods to convert our weakness to strength. We need to search for our capabilities, natural resources and make positive use to gain more and more strength. We should have so much strength no one would dare to advise us.

To start with we should follow rule of addition rather than subtraction. Indian culture is not a private property of any religion, caste or creed. Indian an culture is a mix culture and contributions from Adidravidians, Dravids, Aryans, Greeks, Arabs, Shak, Kush, Hoons, Negroes, Mongols, Malaysians, English, Portuguese, Spanish, French, Dutch to name a few. Whoever came to India accepted India as a their mother land till around first millennium. A cohesive society was formed even though people came from far off places. People accepted each others traditions while maintaining their own. Idali from Chennai is easily available in Srinagar, Rasgoolla from Kolkata is available in Jodhpur in better quality. This keeps on going and would continue for ever. No one cannot create hurdles in this process. To keep Gurudwara clean not only poor sweat but rich too. Every Indian must accept this instead of finding fault with others. Some of us ignore this and try to prove that they are superior, their religion only is the best, and so on. This is not the method of addition. They are dividing the society and deducting people from our group that is India. There are people whose aim is to divide and rule. Their ambition is to make groups who can vote for them and take them to power. There aim is to be in power using any methods and ways whether ethical or not. Beware of such selfish persons. These people are found in every religion, every caste and creed. They love to subtract. They never like addition. They will be there. Common man should not get lured by them.

We need to take oath. We need to change our working. Adopt 'Karmyoga'. The great contribution towards humanity by Lord Shree Krishna. We need to work for society with full physical and mental strength. There is no need of doing some thing for a group of people. There is a need of people who work for all in the society. Every group will develop if the whole nation develops.

Every person should understand that he/she remains a student at all age, till death. Whoever learns improves his her productivity. Belief in teaching other what one knows better is part of repayment of social debt. Whatever work a person does, be it a student or Government servant or working for a private organisation or social establishment or whatever must be with sole aim of serving nation. Whatever is against interests of our nation must be avoided. One must understand whatever position held is for the betterment of the entire nation and not for a few and definitely not for self. Every one of us must remind self that his/her presence is for helping others and not creating obstacles so as to grab benefits from others. We need strong attachment with family, society, state and finally the nation.

I experienced a wonderful incidence while on tour in Kerala. We were approximately twenty persons all unknown to each other, from different parts of country and India experiencing a boat ride. A German couple noticed that I was not handling my camera properly. He expressed his desire to help me. Later I enquired about him and was curious why he helped me. He introduced himself as an ordinary worker of 'Kodak'. He showed me his identity card. On asking why he wanted to help me, he proudly came out with this answer. 'Your wrong handling of camera would defame my company. My company is the best in the world. I will never allow such thing should happen'. An ordinary employee of company on holidays proved his integrity and oneness with the company.

Let us take oath. "I will always add people, I will do my work with full strength and use the best techniques. I shall always improve my working through education and experience. I shall impart my knowledge to all others"

Follow this and observe. Neither we need sympathy from Briton or blessings from USA. Neither we be scared of extremist nor attack from outsiders. Then we shall be a sovereign state and we can say so proudly.
