I didn't have an idea for a story for a while after I wrote The Kris Trilogy. I was afraid I was losing it, which I often do after I finish something like a trilogy. I picked one of my friends, Nicole, and put her into a story. I'd just seen Almost Famous, and the idea of the Band-Aids made me very keen on writing a story somewhat like it.

The story is written in Nic's point of view. After being taken to the concert by her best friend, she discovers the band as they really aren't as they appear to be when they're not in front of a camera. There are girls strewn about backstage, either drunk or high or both. After a short talk, she finds out that not only are they are friends of the band, every single one of them has had sex with each member. They don't like to be called groupies, but that is a term for what they're doing.

After Nic is thrust into this scene, she finds that she can't pull herself away from it. All the people are so intriguing that she can't leave. She ends up sharing a room (and a bed) with Zac. The boys not only aren't as wholesome as they seem, they also hate each other's guts. And Nic is now in the middle of it.
