Mario Kart
Review
Mario Kart is a racing game for just about anyone of any age. The funny characters, loopy race courses and mad array of weapons and boosters just make it one of the most fun and well liked games on the N64.
It is a 3D racer and includes a multiplayer option with different battle arenas
for up to four players to compete in. It is fairly easy to complete and even then you get another
bonus of being able to play all the courses in reverse.
The only place where Mario Kart lets you down is that two of the multiplayer levels are fairly
crummy and overall the game its self is just too easy. (probably because
this time around it was aimed more at younger children)
Some people sill prefer the old version on the Supper Nintendo, which was kind of a
look down on your character type game where all the races were on flat looking circuits. This did not
however detract from the game play and was as much fun then as it is now.
In fact if you are looking for a challenge and you still have a super Nintendo you couldn't go far wrong by purchasing Mario Kart.
It is actually a lot more difficult and challenging on the Super Nintendo than it is on the N64 and takes a lot longer to master.
