Playstation
The playstation is one of the better games systems available today. It is a CD-ROM based machine capable of playing music CD's as well as games.
Its main advantage compared to other consoles is its vast choice of games and decent graphics.
The graphics for this machine aren't as good as say the Dreamcast, but then it has been around for the last three to four years.
Playstation 1
The playstation one is really just a miniaturized version of the original playstation (see PS description above). It looks really cute and is just slightly more expensive to buy than the original playstation at the moment.
In addition to this it is reported that an add on screen will be coming out for it sometime in 2001. This will be welcome news for all those gamers who don't have their own TV on which to play their games.
Though whether or not this screen will be compatible with the original playstation is still to be seen.
Playstation 2
The Playstation 2 is set to take over from playstation one and the original playstation. It will have better graphics, faster running speeds and you will be able to play DVD's on it as well.
As if this weren't enough it also allows you to play all your old Playstation games on it too.
