ARTICLE 9: ELECTORAL COMMISSION

SECTION 9.10   There shall exist an Electoral Commission hereinafter referred to as the EC within the structure of the Association.

SECTION 9.11   The commission shall comprise of five (5) members, headed by the Electoral Commissioner.

SECTION 9.12   The Electoral Commissioner shall be elected into office by the member of the Association.

SECTION 9.13   The Electoral Commissioner shall nominate the other members of the Commission for approval by the General Assembly.

SECTION 9.14   All member of the Commission shall be allowed to vote.

SECTION 9.15   The Commission shall be an independent and shall not be subjected to the control and direction of any authority, person or groups except the provision of the constitution and they shall be accountable to the members of the Association.

SECTION 9.16   The Commission shall have the power to nominate members of the Electoral College for approval of the General Assembly.

ARTICLE 10: COMMITTEES AND COMMISSIONS

SECTION 10.10          There shall exist within the structure of the Association Standing Committees and Commissions.

SECTION 10.11          A Standing Committee shall delegate where necessary its powers to an Ad Hoc Committee.

SECTION 10.12          An Ad Hoc Committee shall be appointed by any Standing Committee to perform a specific duty.

SECTION 10.13          Such a Committee if formed shall work out their own rules of procedure and will be oblige to report back to the Standing Committee.

ARTICLE 11: DUTIES OF THE OFFICERS

THE PRESIDENT

SECTION 11.10          The President shall:

A.        Be the symbol and term of interest of the Association.

B.        Be responsible for the general running of the Association.

C.        Preside over all meetings, Executive, GMs and Congress.

D.        Be the official chief spokesman of the Association and the head of delegations to functions.

E.        Exercise personal and consultative leadership in motivating other executive members to work.

F.        Monitor and assess the performance and effectiveness of the Association.

G.        Be a signatory to the Association's bank account.
