We the past students of Ghana-Lebanon Islamic Senior Secondary School, Relying on and trusting God in all our endeavours and challenges: Aware of the significance of a common platform for past students to organise ourselves in all circles of human life for the strengthening of our resources and energies; Desirous to promote the welfare of members of the association, ensuring that we undertake positive and fruitful ventures in a conducive atmosphere; do constitute ourselves into the GLISSS OLD STUDENTS ASSOCIATION and herby adopt, enact, promulgate this constitution as our supreme instrument of governance and reference. We hereby publicize and unveil this document which shall meet these needs and solidify the very existence of the Association. Any act or law which contradicts the constitution shall be null and void. ARTICLE 1: NAME AND ADDRESS SECTION 1.10 The Association shall be known and called Ghana-Lebanon Islamic Senior Secondary School Old Students Association (GLOSA) hereinafter referred to as the Association. SECTION 1.11 The Association shall bear the address of Ghana-Lebanon Islamic Senior Secondary School hereinafter referred to as the School : Ghana Lebanon Islamic Senior Secondary School Old Students Association C/o Ghana-Lebanon Islamic Senior Secondary School P. O. Box AN 5219 Accra-North ARTICLE 2: MOTTO, SLOGAN, COLOUR AND EMBLEM SECTION 2.10 The motto of the Association shall be, `Actitud Dicto Altitud`. SECTION 2.11 The slogan of the Association shall be, 'the best' SECTION 2.12 The colours of the Association shall be the Traditional colours of the School, being white and ash SECTION 2.13 The emblem of the Association shall be as shown below: ARTICLE 3: AIMS AND OBJECTIVES The aims and objectives of the Association shall be: SECTION 3.10 To form a platform for the mobilization and reconciliation of the past students of the School. SECTION 3.11 To uplift the good name and image of the school. SECTION 3.12 To foster goodwill and togetherness among past students of the School. SECTION 3.13 To promote the welfare and interest of the members of the Association. SECTION 3.14 To educate and encourage present students of the School. SECTION 3.15 To equip members with leadership and organisational skills. SECTION 3.16 To foster goodwill between past students and present students of the School. |
