| ARTICLE 6: MEETINGS
SECTION 6.10 There shall be five (5) official types of meetings namely: Congress, General Meeting, Emergency Meetings, Executive Meetings, Committee, and Commission Sittings. ANNUAL 3-DAY CONGRESS SECTION 6.11 A. A. There shall be an Annual three-day Congress of the Association at the end of the 2-year term of office. B. Congress shall be the highest structure of the Association. C. Congress shall be to: I.Elect new officers for the Association. II.Transact any necessary business and undertake major decision. III.Receive reports from the Executive Committee and Judicial Committee and assess the performance of the Association. GENERAL MEETINGS SECTION 6.12 A. At least two General Meetings hereinafter referred to, as GM shall be called within a year. A. It is mandatory that all executive members attend all meetings. B. Copies of all approved meetings minutes shall be made available to members upon request. C. The quorum for the meeting shall be at least � of the membership including the President, Vice President, or the General Secretary. D. Members shall be given equal opportunity to air their views at meetings. E. Agenda for meetings shall be made known to members at least seven (7) days before the meeting. EMERGENCY MEETINGS SECTION 6.13 A. In addition to the GM, an Extraordinary meeting may be summoned at the request of: I. The President II. Four (4) members of the Executive Committee. III. Ten members of the Association. B. Extraordinary meetings may be summoned to address only issues for which they where called to address. C. Members of the Association shall be notified seven (7) days before the meeting |
