| ARTICLE 4: MEMBERSHIP AND PATRONS
MEMBERS SECTION 4.10 Membership of the Association shall be open to all former students of The School upon application. PATRONS SECTION 4.11 There shall be four patrons of the Association. A. The patrons shall comprise of three (3) automatic patrons being: I.Incumbent Headmaster of the School. II.Incumbent Director of the School III.Incumbent Chairman of the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) of the School. B. There shall be a fourth Patron, the chief patron, who shall be appointed by the Executive and approved of by the General Assembly. C. The Chief Patron shall serve for a period of four (4) years after which a new Chief Patron shall be appointed. D. Any Chief Patron upon completion of term of office is eligible to be appointed as Chief Patron again, provided it is the decision of the General Assembly. ARTICLE 5: FUNCTIONS In the light of the stated objectives (ref. Art 3) the Association shall: SECTION 5.10 Organise Symposia, workshop, seminars and conferences for members and for students of the School. SECTION 5.11 Organise meetings to discuss relevant matters concerning the Association. SECTION 5.12 Organise quizzes, debates and educational trips and any educative and social activities for members and students of the School. SECTION 5.13 Collaborate and undertake joint ventures with similar bodies on matters of mutual interest. |
