Agnes accompanied her husband over the mountain from Path Valley to operate a hotel in Cromwell Township, Huntingdon Co., PA. After his death in 1853, she moved her family back to Path Valley. Agnes is buried in St. Mary's Cemetery, Doylesburg, Franklin Co., PA.
