Saeder-Krupp Spezial-Sicherheits-Gruppe (Special Security Group)- "Dragons"
By:
James Meiers | Eric Johnson

"The Dragons as a whole is one of the most potent Special Operations groups in the world today. We have members of all types of Special Operations personnel in the world. Whether from the Americas, Europe, or a Third or Fourth World country. Combined with the latest in technology, we have the most highly equipped, trained, Special Operations force in the world, able to strike anywhere, anytime, with whatever level of force necessary to accomplish our objectives."
-Hans Ultenner, VP, Section ONE

"Our business, like any other, is to be learned by constant practice and experience; and our experience is to be had in war, not at reviews."
-Sir John Moore.

Ever since the appearance of Ryumyo on December 24, 2011, dragons have re-emerged to take their place as the most powerful living creatures on Earth. Their presence commands respect and awe to those who are in their presence, especially those Great Dragons such as Dunkelzahn, Ryumyo, Hestaby, Rhonabwy, and Lofwyr. Lofwyr is undoubtedly the most powerful of those dragon. As the President, CEO, and Chairman of the largest of the ultra-powerful megacorporations; Saeder-Krupp, and sits the Council of Princes in Tir Tairngire, he commands a large influence around the entire world, and to every living thing.

Lofwyr has been characterized as planning for every contingency, and when it comes to security of the corporate interests and assets, Saeder-Krupp security is one of the most formidable. Lofwyr realized that when special security measures or situations arise, that there need to be a group solely dedicated to those goals. To that end, he personally created the Special Security Group- "Dragons".

Mission Statement
According to the one-page mission statement sent out to the heads of all the Saeder-Krupp offices, The mission statement of the Special Security Group is: To protect those assets of Saeder-Krupp which require an increase in standard protection and to serve as a high-threat response and preemptive security team.
They are required to serve as high-threat security and protection of critical assets, both personnel and projects. They also serve as a high-threat, quick response group in situations where standard security must deal with unconventional situations, such as hostage situations, terrorist attacks, and attacks on high-level security risks and threats to critical assets. They also serve as pre-emptive strike teams against any possible threats where there is a risk or collateral damage to Saeder-Krupp assets or image.

Creation
Soon after his takeover of Saeder-Krupp, Lofwyr began to make drastic changes to all aspects of the corporation, including security. Noting that there was no group to serve in special operations for the corporation, he took charge of creating the Special Security Group and assigned or hired people to help create a group that would serve to protect all interest for the corporation, and work in situations beyond the call of normal security.

In one move, Lofwyr had assembled several top experts in the fields of SWAT, Anti-Terrorism, Counter-Terrorism, and Special Operations. To lead the SWAT teachers, Lofwyr hired Johann Waldheim, a captain in the German police force, and a member of GSG-9. Johann was a respected member of the police force, and was an excellent tactical leader in urban situations. He had led several hostage rescue missions and conducted several ,terrorist, fugitive, and criminal capture situations for the Germans. For Anti-Terrorism, Anthony Burns, an NSA liason to Britain, and noted Anti-terrorism expert was hired to teach Anti-terrorism and be the overall head of the anti-terrorism section. He was one of the first to recognize the potential threat associated with the emergence of magic, and had developed techniques on how to recognize possible terrorist threats involving magic, and worked with the British after they began to suffer under IRA attacks that used magic, as well as to try and prevent more terrorist attacks that did not use magic, including potential targets for car bombings and assassinations, and pointing out weaknesses in security. Two counter-terrorism experts were called in to head CT; Colonel William Anderson of the UCAS's ultra-secret Terrorist Retrieval Unit, or as some people liked to call it "The Reciprocication, or Retribution Unit" for the fact that most of the people they were sent after to bring to justice ended up dead. The other person was Brigadier Charles Locke, a member of the British SAS and a veteran of several IRA and joint-mission terrorist takedowns. To head up Special Operations, Lofwyr chose Navy SEAL Captains Robert Sanders and James Brock. Sanders had extensive knowledge of how to assimilate in jungle and desert situations. Brock knew how to survive in the arctic conditions and forest environments, and both gave the recruits hard times when they had to learn survival and how to assimilate into various environments, including how to negotiate if needed.

The men and their assistants taught the recruits how to take over tactical command and work in crises such as hostage situations in urban, corporate settings, tactics on evacuation procedures, and how to lead and assimilate themselves in an unknown situation quickly. They had to be creative and inventive hunters of their targets, and know what kind of clues to spot for in a possible terrorist attack. The recruits learned to be resourceful, because in special operations, they would be on their own, and could not even ask for help from a nearby Saeder-Krupp site.

Recruiting
To apply to join the Special Security Group, a person must fall under these guidelines:

If the applicant has not violated any of those rules, then they may request to apply for SSG by asking their superior to schedule an appointment with a recruiter. After filling out the necessary paperwork and making sure they are serious about applying for the "Dragons", the applicant signs the form, and makes their presence at the next class official. If they violate this and aren't present at the first class, they must state their reason for not being present. If the reason is frivolous or doesn't hold up, the recruit may face serious reprimand. If they change their mind, they have until the day before class starts to make this know to their recruiter.

Dragon School and Probation
"When we get new recruits, we laugh sometimes, at what those faces could be seeing, a big troll waiting to snap their arms off, or the instructor is going to push us through all seven hells just for a gold medal. While true, we still have to remember that these "innocent" people may have studied all there is to know about martial arts, or a corporate or government military and it's training schedule. So? what about it? does it make them any tougher? not really. You need experience to put the images into movements, so if you're confronted, you know the movements, but how do you use the muscles? That's why we train and work hard, they need to understand that they might have seen "Kamba IV: Black Belt Master of China" at least 100 times, and that's it, you don't know that it requires practice for those moves, not something you can do automatically. While there is the concern for safety, we still need to push the new recruits to the limit. In a firefight, you can't say "Time Out" and the combatants will stop to take it's breath then resume. No way, in combat, you need to be on your toes, 7 days, 24 hours, 60 minutes, 60 seconds, to 1 second, because nowadays, that's what combat is becoming, so fast that if you don't keep aware, you're dead, no bones about it. With the introduction of "Expert AI" that is in the future going to be deployed in combat vehicles, the recruit needs that second to ensure that he or she is going to be breathing another second. So in essence, we treat the recruits like shit, because that's what they will be dealing with, every second, then 60 seconds, 60 minutes, 24 hours, 7 days, and it goes on and on......."
-Recruit Instructor Harry "Goldmiser"" Barnes, Section SEVEN

Once the classes starts, the class doesn't let up for twelve weeks. During that time, they must face constant physical and mental tests. They have to get up at 4 AM and work for ten hours doing physical tests, spending six hours in between the two four-hour period learning observation, survival, and tactical skills. As the program goes on, the tests get harder, and there are more of them. The students must learn to adapt to the increasing amount of pressure and workload on them. As the students go on, they must also undergo psychological testing, and must also face new tests, such as irregular wake-up times, and training periods, as well as going through an entire week with only four intermittent hours of sleep combined with studying, physical exercising and training, psychological tests, and equivalency test in combat and survival training. By the end of the twelve-weeks, the group has weeded out anywhere from forty to ninety-five plus percent of the incoming class. If at any time a student gives up and quits or fails, they are sent out of the class, and placed back in their original group. If they are injured, they may be "recycled" into another class once they are recovered. However, even after the graduates pass the Dragon school, they have still not begun to become members of the Special Security Group. To further test the graduates, the 4-man teams of students must pass and survive a a survival test where they are dumped into the middle of the Black Forest and survive on their own while evading any Saeder-Krupp security forces sent to track and find them. However, that is not all. They then have to operate in an urban crisis situation, taking tactical command and then evaluating and carrying out a plan to resolve the conflict. Then, after passing these tests, can a person be considered a probationary Dragon.

After they pass all those tests, then they are assigned a probationary position on a group in Section FOUR, where they are supervised by their commanding officer. The probationary members get one chance to stay in the group for the eight-week period. If they fail to perform a task, and then fail in a recycling, they are kicked out of the group and sent back to their pre-application group. A new member then takes their place. If a member is able to go through the probationary period, then then become a full-fledged member of the Special Security Group- "Dragons". At their graduation, they get various awards for their achievements during their application and probationary periods. Then their graduation certificates are given to them by Lofwyr himself. At this time, they are then assigned to their new group in Section SIX. From there, they are headed on the track to join Section ONE, which requires at least three terms as a member of Section SIX and another Section, plus outstanding distinction to be sent to Section ONE, where all the top members are sent. (This system is based up similarly to the system used by the TTPFSF Ghosts).
Field training includes craftwork, such as camouflage, and tactics. Urban environments, and other skills are taught as well. The tactical portion is the last, and includes a flight from Germany to Kubyinka, where the recruits perform standard field operations. This is in the second to last week, and the last week is graduation. This second to last week also includes what DOs call jokingly the "Volksmarch", where applicants are put through an 80 kilometer land navigation course. This has the soldier carrying a 28 kilogram (60 lb.) rucksack with ammunition and food. Each soldier usually carries a G80 rifle adapted with MILES, or a sniper rifle, those are the only two choices, and no pistols are used. They must successfully navigate by themselves from the main garrison area of Kubyinka, then come back, avoiding DOs playing OPFOR, as well as the units training there. Every mainline unit in the Saeder-Krupp is told in their briefing that their exercises are to be included "rogue survivalists" who are to be treated as hostile. Since they are equipped with MILES gear, once they are "killed", then they must report to the last checkpoint. Being "killed" means that the soldier is automatically recycled. He or she can be recycled three times until they are kicked out. The applicants can use thier own MILES equipped weapons to "kill" other soldiers as well. They begin at 0400 and it lasts for three days, as they avoid patrols, OPFOR, etc. This is to reinforce the dynamic nature of the "country" they are operating in. At each navigation point that they are supposed to reach is a vehicle that the DOs sit and wait for an applicant to show up. They carry extra water, but no extra ammunition. The DO vehicles are marked like standard OC vehicles, to prevent any confusion, however with red engineer tape on the aerials. The land navigation portion is devoid of GPS systems, and if the soldier is caught with one, is immediately recycled. Plus they do the "Volksdump", which the DOs inspect each soldiers rucksack for said items. Long experienced, they know most of the tricks that the soldiers will try and pull, since they probably tried themselves. The "Volksmarch" takes place for the whole year. Only extreme cases of weather prevent this taken place. However, this is a mandatory part of the training, and if it takes a month for the weather to clear up, they will wait that long. During this time, they are under complete lockdown to prevent anything from happening. Each soldier is given different coordinates, and operate on their own. However, if a fellow soldier is in trouble, then they are allowed to help when necessary.
One nasty trick that the DOs use is they give the list to the appropriate Sections, usually the representative of that Section. He or she also participates, hunting down the soldier that is supposed to be in their Section. This allows the representative to get a foreknowledge of what to expect. Each soldier is fitted with a transponder that broadcasts to the main control center at Kubyinka. This is used for purposes. It is also linked to a biomonitor in case of injury or death. A button, the "Injury Button" is provided if the soldier is capable of pushing said button. After passing, the soldiers rest for a couple days, then fly back to Germany to graduate.

Equipment
Like any special operations group, the Special Security Group has access to a wide variety of equipment to perform it's numerous jobs. To specialized electronics to computers to the mundane items such as a combat vest, it is there. Needless to say, all equipment is SOTA. There are however things that they specially use for their jobs. First is the K6 Optical Sight, designed for combined-arms operations in the field. It incorporates a laser designator and the Battletac FDDM system to allow designation and prosecution of targets. Standard binoculars used is the AN/GVS-25 system, allowing accurate fire on targets. It has an inbuilt laser rangefinder to range targets, and like the K6, can download targets via the Battletac FDDM system when properly hooked to a Battletac net. Designed for counter-terrorist and other applications, the M2 Cartrige Gun allows rapid entry to locked doors using specialized shotgun shells. This is used in conjunction sometimes with a Fiber Optic Viewing Probe, which allows them to look into a room without exposing them to danger.

Weapons
"Other than our brains, we consider firearms to be one of the most crucial aspects of the Special Security Group. You see, we treat firearms as though they were wine. Only the best gets used. We are unforgiving of crap, shitty weapons that fail once on a mission. Not the normal problems, like jamming, that happens in any weapon, that's life. But if the weapon fails to perform to the rigors of combat, it's trash, and we make sure that the company that supplied the weapon never gets our contract again. We've had problems before on that matter. Some factors are accepted, because we can't predict or control everything. But with those things that we can control, we make sure that the weapon we are carrying, whether a pistol, or a heavy machine gun, works right and consistently. That's what we expect, and nothing less
-Jean de Avin, Section FOUR

Weapons are vital and essential to any operation, and the Dragons have become totally unforgiving of poorly made weapons. So Saeder-Krupp has begun to specifically develop weapons to fit the needs of the Dragons using various gunsmiths and gun companies owned by Saeder-Krupp, including Heckler & Koch, Walther, and Steyr. Most of the weapons are factory versions that have been customized and rebuilt, but there are also some weapons that are strictly custom jobs.

The standard issue pistol is currently the H&K USP V Mod 0. It is the fourth generation of the gun originally created for the United States Special Operations Command as general issue to all the American special operations groups in the 1990s. Dragons also are allowed to carry other pistols such as the Walter 336 10mm pistol and the Saeder-Krupp P32z 9mm pistol with the Walther PB-120 as a backup pistol. When necessary, Dragons prefer machine pistols such as the Glock 28 or, more recently, the Heckler & Koch USP/MP machine pistol. The USP/MP replaced the Glock 28 as the standard issue machine pistol in January 2061.

Submachineguns are used by secondary forces in situations, and are very valuable. To that end, the ever-reliable H&K MP-5 series still provides the bulk of that niche, with most units using the Model 229/MP5SD6-NA2 and the Model 329/MP5/10-A6 NA2 submachineguns. Replacing the Seburo 9mm PARA is the newer MP9SD, offering more compact power in the Sections. It is also more accurate than the Model 229. Currently, Section FOUR is recieving the newer model, since they are more "front-line", as well as Sections FIVE, ONE, and TWO. Special Security Group brass hope to completely replace the Model 229 with the Model 1529, as the MP9SD is known.

While the submachineguns are valuable second-line weaponry, the majority of weapons need to have the power and long range of an assault rifle. The G80, a mainstay for the last fifteen years has developed a reputation for it's near-indestructible construction, and excellent accuracy. To that end, Heckler & Koch UK division has created the HK77SG rifle as an alternative to the heavier G80. Both rifles have the same features and same capacities, but the HK77SG is smaller and fires the 9mm Parabellum round.

The Dragons also have to rely on sniper rifles at times. Luckily, Steyr, H&K, and Walther all make the best sniper rifles in the world. Heckler & Koch continues the tradition of the PSG-1 with the MSG55, a new version of the old MSG54A3. The weapon is more advanced, featuring better accuracy than the MSG54A3, and is lighter, and offers more firepower by using the 10 x 28mm round instead of the 7.62 x 51mm round. It is more accurate and reliable than the PSG-1. With the release of the HK77UK, and it's SMG variant, the HK78UK, it has produced a sniper rifle variant, the HK98UK, a true combat sniper rifle designed for airborne operations. The Steyr SSG P72 sniper rifle is also a favored rifle for its outstanding accuracy without any modifications, and with modification, it's as close to perfect as can get. This is the same sniper rifle that the CAS Delta Force and UCAS Navy SEAL Team SIX uses, and for good reason. Also used is the Heckler and Koch MSG67, designed from the M90 Barret sniper rifle of the 20th century that gives the SSG a heavy punch in sniper operations. It features advanced composites to make it the lightest of heavy caliber sniper rifles in the world today.

Shotguns are also very useful for House to House fighting, and for dealing with long-range situations, where they provide long range, excellent stopping power, and an ominous intimidation factor. To this end, Heckler & Koch has redone the old CAWS shotgun, increasing damage and also increasing the effective engagement range of shotgun gunners. Using a higher pressure round, the weapon is steadily replacing the Model 46 and Model 48 shotguns as a standard service shotgun.

Squad support weapons are also valuable for support in situation where heavy firepower is needed. This is more than just a light machine gun, or anything an assault rifle can do. These are weapons that can fire more rounds farther and deadlier than either of the other two. The H&K G-6K2 Squad Automatic Weapon is a heavy machinegun with heavy modifications, including the capability to fire at supermachinegun rates of fire. It is capable of killing almost anything man-sized. The Special Munitions M66A2 Heavy Fire Weapon is another heavy machinegun with some extras that make it very deadly. It is a very reliable weapon. Saeder-Krupp's Special Munitions Branch has devloped the M56A2 Smart, a very advanced weapon system combining a thermal imaging targeting system with a full body gyromount, and a special medium machinegun to form a highly accurate and very deadly weapon system. Squad level fire support is provided by the G80E Light Machine Gun. It is based off of the G80 assault rifle, and features an imaging scope combined with a lightweight frame to allow effective squad support.

In addition to the weapons above, they also have some specialized issue weapons for special situations. Used for higher threat situations is the Seburo M44a1 rifle, which fires the venerable .308 cartridge to deliver massive damage to heavier armored targets. This has been used against cyberzombies, as well as the Seburo M7 if a more compact weapon is needed, and is used as a light anti-material weapon. For a more multitude of targets, the SMC Combatmaster is used, with it's ability to use the popular Ballista missile system, and as well, the Seburo Light 20 is used against vehicles. However, they maintain a small stock of these weapons.

Training
Without training to back up all this firepower, the Dragons would be just another bunch of well-equipped security guards with little tactical training (Like a certain other Megacorp SpecOps group that shall remain nameless.). However, the Dragons take their training very seriously, and they train hard to stay on the cutting edge, and rival the federal groups like the SEALs and SAS. They workout in the gyms for at least four hours each day, weight lifting, performing calisthenics, and practicing martial arts with resident experts, and sparring with the instructors and each other. They are in top physical condition, and must stay that way too stay in the program. The Saeder-Krupp doctors put them on special diet and physical regiments based on ability and speciality in the group. During the week they are to refrain form any sort or activity that might prove dangerous, and they have guidelines they must follow on the weekends, complete with their own personal "watcher", a distinguished S-K personnel security agent that follow the Dragon around wherever they go outside of the gym, their home, or any other area that is restricted to Dragon members only. Anywhere else will find them with a person following them constantly, but never saying a word in public.

After working out in the gym, a Dragon must spend time in a classroom learning about tactical situations and anti-terrorism techniques for three hours. They also practice firearms and weapons training daily, as well as participate in tactical exercises daily or every other day. The Dragons are expected much of themselves, and have to stay up to date with all their certifications and training, and are encouraged to learn more outside the program, such as learning languages, learning more about military tactics and procedures, studying up on tactical reviews, and keeping up with current events. Suggested reading for the Dragons include Machiavelli, Sun Tzu, Clausewitz, Jane's Defense Weekly and monthly Reviews on International Defense and Intelligence, and assorted literature on combat.

The Dragons train in several ranges and courses throughout their base in an undisclosed location. They have four firearms ranges for practice and certification for all types of guns, from pistols to heavy machineguns, they have areas to practice with explosives ordinance such as plastique, bombs, and grenades. They have rooms where they practice tactical exercises in variable conditions inside and outside. Here they conduct exercises such as room clearing, hostage situations, house to house combat, counteroffensive attacks against attacking forces, fortifications, and close quarters combat.

The Dragons also use simsense to practice these situations with real-life opponents, usually more experienced Dragons, where the human factor can account for a lot. The system is very advanced, and very high-end, on the level of BTLs, like Lone Star's SWAT systems. The simsense can mimic any type of encounter, and the programmers have scanned the surroundings of several different types of cities, buildings, and Saeder-Krupp facilities to be used in virtual combat.

Magic
Like standard Saeder-Krupp military and security forces, magic is an integral role within the SSG. Magical training is required for mundane and magical soldiers. Training for mundane soldiers entails the soldier understanding basic concepts of magic, and how to employ it in a combined arms situation, plus effects of known spells and spirits, and how to combat them. Also the training includes paranormal animals, which is also taught to the mages. Howvever, this animal training is not a standard ciirriculum for Dragon personnel, it is a voluntary program that requires the trainee to work with the standard military.
For adepts, both physical and magical, training is also different, designed to maximize the somewhat limited abilities of their magical ability. However, they go through the standard magical familiarization to expand thier abilities. Initiation is also commonplace, with varying grades among the ranks of the magically active SSG personnel. Other training involves "Red Flag" exercises, with simulated combat with "enemy" magical and physical forcers is regularly held, to hone skills and provide extra training for units and to also encourage flexibility. While this does not allow for all groups within the world, it does give the individual soldier (mundane or active) more knowledge in using magic, as well as learning from others experiences. A magical order, the Orden des Drachen (Order of the Dragon) was created to provide a "pool" for magical operations.
Other training includes forensics, tactics for a tactical or hostage situation, or new spells or ideas. Since Saeder-Krupp is providing the resources and it's reputation, magic is taken seriously within the magically active within the SSG. This does not mean that the magicians are the high and might of of the SSG, they are not, they are treated just as equally, to provide the various teams with people they can trust, no matter if the person is a mage or not, or any other reason. The highest grade initiate is the head of the order, and is also the main magical commander for magical operations. Currently, the highest ranking Initiate is so far a VP for Section THREE (it makes no difference on who is the current Section magical commander, it's based on skill, not Section affilitation). Also, magical items such as spell locks is common, as well as anchored spells on vehicles, or other items that requires magical protection. This has made the SSG one of the premier groups that uses magic heavily, with Aztlan coming first with it's magical traditions. And blood magic is not a practice carried by SSG mages. If anyone is considering becoming part of the SSG and practices blood magic, they tend to attract lead from other SSG members.

Vehicles
The SSG maintains only a few special, exclusive vehicles to accomplish thier mission. To get anywhere, the SSG uses the UD-4M Cheyenne VTOL transport to deploy thier soldiers to any necessary trouble spots, and as a transport for cargo if necessary. It's main abilities is stealth, and reportedly, the vehicle penetrated the normally tight Sioux border. It is also heavily armed, used as an assault transport. Currently, only three UD-4Ms are available to Section FOUR. To support this, the SSG uses the M577 Fuchs III light APC. This is was designed for use with the Cheyenne, and consists of the main support vehicle for tactical, military operations where needed. It's weapon load has kept it in the arsenals of the SSG. Used as a light tank, the SSG has dropped the ineffective LAV-45, and is currently re-equipping their units with the more potent LAV-62, known as the LAV-62A1. This is used mainly by Section SIX, whose defensive stance is more suited for this vehicle, which who were the main instigators for this reorganization. The LAV-45 has been relegated to garrison duties in the Essen area instead. Deployment of these vehicles is limited to both battalions, with only one assigned to Section SEVEN, which is used for training. All of course are maintained at a high state of readiness. In addition to that, the SSG also uses any normal vehicle, from plain Jane to modified to thier needs. They practically could use any vehicle in the world. Being introduced for use by Section FOUR and FIVE is the Dietrich Class submarine. This allows a Platoon to be rapidly deployed to any location, and also used for other missions as well. Section SIX, tasked out to patrol the Panama Control Zone, utilizes it's own special vehicle, the Dassault Sirocco. Based off the Mi-74, this allows Section SIX units to effectively counter any hostile intent to it's area of operations.
The SSG also uses a few specialized drones to accomplish it's job as well. The first is the P90 recon drone, a VSTOL drone that is used with the UD-4L for forward recon of an area. The second drone is the RRS, which is used for reloading both in the field and in garrison, but more likely to be encountered in garrison. Used by the regular Saeder-Krupp military, and adopted is the new DAF LRSV (Long Range Scout Vehicle). Deployed with Section FOUR after a disastrous incident in Iran, this will help Section FOUR perform it's missions without any loss.

Organization and Structure
The Dragons are set up in seven "Sections", designated "Section ONE", "Section TWO", etc. Each section consists of three platoons. each platoon has three four-man teams and the Commanding and Executive Officers. The platoons are headed up by a Commanding Officer of Colonel rank. The seven Chiefs who head up the seven Sections then report directly to the head of Saeder-Krupp security There can be an exception made to the rank of an Exeutive or Commanding officerr of a group if the previous CO or XO has been incapaciatated and is unable to perform their duty. The next highest ranking person may be promoted to the rank of XO or CO, but will not advance in rank until they complete the requirements to be promoted to that rank.

The teams in each platoon cross-train with the other teams, and cross-train within their teams in weapons and tactics to make them more effective and flexible. Each four-man team consists of two or three riflemen, and one magician replacing a gunner for every other team, and one gunner, who deals with heavy weapons. In the platoon, the team members train with another team to practice situations where they are unfamiliar with another group, and must learn how to deal with the new situation, because a team will not always be sent as a group, but just one or two members are sent to join with another team or another team's members. Amongst the platoon, member will also cross-train, and might work together on situations, but no Section ever cross-trains with another Section. Also, with the presence of several magically active members, they must also learn to employ combined arms tactics, to use magic and conventional attacks together to achieve a goal. In each Section, the platoons are all equal, and there is no favoritism towards a particular group. However, there is a distinction between Sections.

Each new recruit into the Dragons must first join Section SEVEN, and then work up from there. After one or two years, a recruit is then sent from SEVEN to either FIVE or SIX. After exemplary service in either Section, a Dragon may apply to join teams FOUR or THREE, and must pass a test to join the the Section. Failing the test for application to any Section three times cumulative removes the member from the Dragons organization. However, Sections THREE and FOUR are some of the very best of the Dragons, and there are members of these teams that are better than members of Section ONE and TWO. If a Dragon has an excellent service record in FOUR or THREE, and shows outstanding valor and loyalty to the Dragons and Saeder-Krupp, they may be able to request an application into Section TWO, and if they pass the certification test, they become one of the very elite. If a person is lucky enough to get into Section TWO, they are considered to be the best of the best, and have gained a reputation as being the second most outstanding group of Corporate Special Operations in the world, right behind Section ONE. Entrance in Section ONE is extremely difficult, but there are the very best corporate warriors in the world, and are as good, if not better, as several federal SpecOps groups around the world. To join Section ONE, the person must show extreme valor and allegiance to Saeder-Krupp and the Dragons, and be an outstanding member of the Dragons organization. Only when they have proved that beyond a shadow of a doubt, can they be invited to join Section ONE. Even then, they must pass an extremely difficult certification test, undergo a couple of psychological profiles, and swear their undying allegiance to Saeder-Krupp, Special Security Group, and Lofwyr himself. They become lifers", and will never be able to leave the Dragons once they join unless they retire at an age where they lose their effectiveness and worth, or die, preferably in combat. Lofwyr does not stand failure or betrayal, and those members of ONE who fail him should pray to die in combat, something that will eventually happen unless they die failing him. In organizational terms however, the three Sections are grouped into two battalions with three sections each. Section SEVEN is however an independent unit when considered through the TO&E.
