Enhanced Combat Suit (ECS)

Designed specifically for the SSG, the ECS is designed for mobility and protection for the wearer. Similar to the FEAST system, this however provides more protection to the user. Using the Medium Military Grade armor as the platform, numerous features have been implemented.
Under armor clothing consists of a Datasuit, which is a highly advanced material, with Gortex 944E compounds. The suit translates the nueral movements to the suit. The suit is form-fitted to the material, and resembles spandex. It can resist acids, alkalis, chemicals, and offers some protection against other threats (2/2). The Datasuit weighs a light 1.5 kilograms. Along with this is a head cap to keep down any long hair from interfering with the helmet.
The Integrated Helmet (+2/+3) with a standard HUD (200 Mp), GPS, Low-Light Vision, and Thermographic capability. NBC (Nuclear, Biological, Chemical) protection with sealable neck ring to seal the user comfortably. Has twenty-four hours life support integrated. It is Battletac integrated, with a datajack and chipslots are available. Also integrated is a Phillips Personal Communications System (Rating 14) with an IFF Chip installed. Each member has an IFF chip that broadcasts the person's identity. This operates over the Phillips System and is encrypted (Rating 16). Additionaly, when the character aims at a friendly character, a window will pop up warning of friendly fire.
The Main Body incorporates cyber-technology to increase strength and mobility. For game use, the armor gives the character an extra 2 points of Strength and Quickness(characters can adjust their Reaction acordingly to reflect the necessary changes). Also, the characters requirement (minimum) for Combat Pool are reduced (-2) to use the armor without penalties. Mounting points for extra gear (holds up to 20 points for the TAG FireForce II system described below). Forearm gaurds on the arms to add protection and increase CQB takedown (0/+1). Footwear is designed to protect the wearer from sharp objects and land mines (0/2) and add one dice for any endurance tests. It also helps absorb the shock of parachute jumps (reduce Power by 2). Full environmental sealing with NBC capability. Smartlink II hardware interface in the helmet, or micro-mesh padding on the users preferred Smartlink hand. Included is an altimeter for parachute drops, thermal suppression (for game rules, it gives a Signature of 8 for sensor targeting purposes). It has a 24 hour battery, can be recharged and is removable, allowing recharged or fresh batteries to be installed. Game notes: when the battery dies, the character doesn't get any benefits from targeting, the added strength, and must suffer the Combat Pool restriction as well. Can incorporate different camouflage techniques, such as fake vegetation, netting, or any other fieldcraft. Sensor matrix throughout the whole suit, allowing field commanders to ascertain damage to armor. Another mesh, which monitors the life signs of the soldier, is set to send a FLASH priority message to the commander, to notify him/her for immediate medical attention. These both run off the internal lithium battery.
Accessories include a Rope Dispenser designed for the Counter-Terrorist/SWAT operations, as well as others, is a 100m dispenser for rope, that is hooked to the front of the suit. This incorporates a hook to latch on, and the user can manually adjust the length of the rope as needed. It features a cutting blade to allow quick release from the rope when needed. This requires a Complex Action to do, with an Intelligence Test as needed to properly secure the hook, and a Simple Action to leap off, and another Simple Action to stop. It also requires a Simple Action to "release" from the rope. Attaching the system adds 3 kilograms to the suit. A HALO kit allows HALO drops while wearing this armor. It adds to the system a paraglider on the back, a backup altimeter, as well as a reserve parachute on the chest. This adds 5 kilograms to the weight of the armor.
Due to the nature of operations involved, this armor is used in everything from tactical operations to hostage situations. The flexibility of the armor allows a Dragon to not be underprotected in the field. Experiences have shown this armor to be easily moved in all but the tightest spots either in a CQB scenario or a full open tactical engagement. With the introduction of the M56 Smart, the user can still access the thermal sight just by simply putting the eyepiece over the helmet's viewing lens. A holster is inocorporated on each side to allow sidearms to be carried without needing an extra holster, and also two magazines, as well as other numerous pockets to carry extra equipment.

M38 Light Combat Suit

The M38 LCS is developed for general security operations, and is pretty much the other "standard" form of armor besides the ECS. The platform is an imporoved Level 3 Form Fitting Body Armor that increases the protection, as well as incorporating Gel Paks to decrease the stopping power of hostile weaponry, as well as an additional layer of material to add to the stopping potential. The concealability issue wasn't critical, as most often, they would be wearing it in situations where concealment wasn't a concern. The arms feature forearm guards (0/+1) as well as the shins of the suit the same protection (0/+1) as the forearm guards. The legs feature two large pockets with two concealable holsters sown in that can handle up to a Concealability of 4 weapon, mainly pistols.
Mounted on the hip is a small fanny pack on the left rear that can hold four hand grenades. An attachment on the other side allows a bandolier to be attached to carry additional gear. The forearm guards are modified to carry two additional clips each, allowing exceptionally quick field reloading of the service sidearm (for game notes, it still requires a Simple Action, and can only accept standard pistol clips). Another attachment point allows for items such as katanas, and knives if needed, as well as other grenades, clips, etc.
Besides ballistic protection, the suit offers environmental protection, with Gortex 944E filling, along with breathable fibers to allow the body to "breathe", and can be used with the standard issue (US Army style) M13 Gortex Jacket. This armor is only available to the SSG. And like the Camo Suit, it is available in all computer facsimile patterns. For colder operations, there is a general issue Thinsulate (TM) jacket in the same style, as well as trousers. The boots are attached, and the user slips into them, the footwear being designed to protect the wearer from sharp objects and land mines (0/2) and add one dice for any endurance tests. Additionally, the M38 also requires use of the Datasuit described above and follows standard rules described above. In addition to the items described above, the wearer may add extra compartmens to the suit (See below). Using the Travilla Arms Group Fire Force system, the M38 can carry alot of specialized equipment. The torso has a value of 15 for determining what can be added, as well as the legs having 15 points as well.

Removing/putting on the armor requires two Complex Actions. It should be noted that most items cannot be worn over this armor. Diving suits of any kind cannot be worn on top/under this system. Form-Fitting Body Armor is also a no-go, as it'll heat you up as well as working on slowing some people down, and third, it's pretty form-fitted anyways!. Large bulky clothes can be worn over, provided they are at least two sizes larger than the LCS. Even bomber jackets can be worn over this, provided the armor isn't stacked up with stuff.

M13 Gortex Jacket (US Army Style)
This is the standard issue Gortex jacket issued to SSG personnel. It features the same material as the M38, and is designed as an over garment for the standard BDU's and the M38 in heavy inclement weather. The jacket has four pockets, two breastpockets, and the other two on the lower portion of the jacket. These can carry most small items, and the jacket can be opened with the M38 to allow the user to gain access to items needed. Unlike the M38, it is available on the open market in all types of colors and patterns, as well as computer facsimile styles. It also offers some protection with a layer of Kevlar weaves.
