Special Issue Weapons

For most missions, the standard weapon listings are mainly used. However, for some missions, other weapons are issued.

Seburo M44a1 Heavy Assault Rifle
Designed for the SSG to be used against heavily cybernetic individuals, the Seburo M44a1 is a .308 caliber weapon heavily modified to suit it's role and produced for the SSG as an exclusive weapon. A barrel mounted Improved Gas Vent II handles the massive recoil the round produces. The frame of the rifle is composed of highly advanced materials, giving the weapon light weight for the firepower delivered, reportedly, the frame is made of components made in zero-gee. The weapon has a folding stock*, and on the lower handguard is a TAG rail mount, to allow the shooter to add on other necessary equipment. The weapon's firing mechanism has been replaced by an electrical system, to fire the caseless ammunition which the weapon fires. It is fed by a 36-round helical clip that sits on top of the weapon, held secure by the Sur-Lok system, with two holes on the bottom to allow a M5 scope mount to be secured, as the weapon does not have backup iron sights, and has Smartlink II as standard. However, the ammunition clips can be switched out for ones that have backup iron sights on them. This is more or less a personal preference, as most users mount a COT system, and the M5 mount can accept the K6 sight as well. As a security measure, the popular Individual Biometric System is installed in the handgrip, ensuring security of the weapon system. The a1 version, an update, features the COT system as standard, rather as a design option.

It has Smartlink II as standard, and the TAG rail mount can mount any accessories that the TAG system can accept. Additionally, the weapon follows the Heavy Weapon recoil rules. The weapon can only mount Top-mounted accessories.

SMC Combatmaster
The SMC Combatmaster is a multi use weapon deployed among the various Sections. The rifle is a combined 5.56 x 45mm caseless weapon with an under-barrel Multi-Launcher. Most of the frame is ceramic, and features other weight reduction materials as well to lessen overall weight. It features a telescopic stock for easier carryability, allowing it to be used in a carbine format with the stock folded, or as a normal rifle when extended. Mounted over the barrel is a bipod for stable firing and the barrel features an Improved Gas-Vent II system as well as a shock pad on the butt of the stock. Mounted on the right side of the weapon is a laser designator, allowing self designation for the Ballista rounds. It has Smartlink II, along with a rangefinder for accuracy, and is COT capable.
