The 321st Support Company is a support company that provides supply of munitions, and other equipment. Normally this unit operates when such action dictates, such as a deployment to the SOX, or Desert Wars. Though company in size, the company has six platoons of support vehicles. Platoons 1 through 2 have UD-6A Iroquois tactical transports, unlike the use of the UD-4L, through which the 321st has no use for this sophisticated aircraft. Platoons 3 and 4 each have M570 Cargo Vehicles, plus use of the M8 Cargo Vehicle as well. Platoons 5 and 6 each operate one C-70 "Carryall" strategic transport aircraft. Each platoon also has it's own maintenance section for repairs and general upkeep. The seventh platoon is the maintenance platoon, that oversees overall maintenance. Despite this, all crews are trained to perform maintenance on their vehicles as well, in case of emergencies, etc. Most training is handled at the Maintenance Basic through the 8th TG. Pilots are also from the flight school, and are assigned to the 321st through placement procedures. Other pilots, such as the C-70 pilots, are trained as normal.
