Rumor:  According to iGamest, SCEI is working on Digital VCR for Playstaton2. 

Super Robot War Alpha has been delaying from February 24 to sometime in March.

Sony Computer Entertainment of America is planning to release an update to Gran Turismo 2, to fix up the flaws in the game, customers who purchased the game can obtain a bug free version of Gran Turismo 2 by calling the consumer service department of SCEA.

New screen shots on two of Square's Playstation 2 titles: Gekikuukan Pro Baseball: The end of the Century 1999 and All Star Professional Wrestling Ring. Gekikuukan Pro Baseball: The end of the Century 1999 features life like graphics, animation, live broadcasting during the game, real name players and stadiums, the characters will have different facial expression during the game. All Star Professional Wrestling Ring features real life wrestlers, motion captured animation and life like body movements and facial expressions. SCEI has confirmed that they will release Fantavision, action puzzle game, for Playstation 2 at launch on March 4, in CD-ROM format for 4800 yen. Koei's PS2 real time war simulation game Kessen will release on the same day for 6800 yen, in DVD-ROM format, with Dual Shock 2 and 8M Memory Card support. Other than Sony and Koei's releases, From Software has also confirmed that their PS2 launch title Eternal Ring will be released in DVD-ROM format, for 6800 yen on March 4.

Namco is porting the System 11 arcade gun shooting game Oh! Bakyuun  to Playstation, developed by Eighting / Raizing. Oh! Bakyuun  is a comical ghost shooting game, divided into a collection mini games, similar to Gun Barl. Your goal is to shoot down as many ghost targets on screen as possible. This game is 2 players simultaneously, supporting both Dual Shock and GunCon.
 

Namco has released new info on their upcoming Playstation baseball game World Stadium 4, scheduled to release in Japan on March 23, for 5800 yen. This game supports up to 6 players in the multiplayer mode. Several PocketStation mini games are included in the game, allowing you to train your own characters.
 

Acclaim is working on a new arcade style racing game for both Playstation and Dreamcast called Vanishing Point, scheduled to release this spring, this game features stunt based race tracks, real life vehicles such as BMW, Lotus, Ford and McLaren. This game will also have multiplayer split screen play modes

 

Capcom / Arika has released new info on their Playstation 2 fighting game Street Fighter EX3. This game will have a new Tag Team Fighting system, you can swap your character at any time during the battle. A new Touch System is introduced in the game, allow you to launch tag combos with two characters simultaneously. The new Momentary Combo will enable you to cancel a special attack into another, much like Super Cancel. Other new systems include the ability to launch two super combos with the two characters, increase the attack power of your team in a fixed time by consuming the power gauge energy, and a new unblockable Hard attack, which replaces the Guard Break move. In addition, there will be endurance stages in which you will fight against a team of 3 to 10 people.

Square is starting a Vagrant Story reservation campaign in Japan, those who pre-order the game in game shops will be able to obtain a VKP License Book, a Vagrant Story introduction booklet. And you will obtain the Square Digital Trading Cards Vol. 1 if you reserve the game at convenience stores. Vagrant Story is scheduled to release in Japan on February 10.
