Chocobo Collection for Playstation will be released in Japan on December 22. As a celebration of Chocobo's 10th year anniversary, this package includes Chocobo Stallion, Dice de Chocobo and Chocobo Racing. In Chocobo Stallion, you try to breed, train and manage the Chocobos in your farm and take them to races, you can use the PocketStation to exchange or mate Chocobos with your friends. A very unique Remote control signal recognition system is included in the PocketStation mini game, you can use send different remote control signals to the PocketStation, and it will generate new breeds of Chocobos!

Capcom has released new screen shots of Strider 2 for Playstation. Strider 2 is scheduled to release in Japan on February 24.

Incremental P is working on a new 2D fighting game + construction tool for Playstation called Kaku Hari ~ Fighting Game Creator, scheduled to release in Japan in February 2000, for 5800 yen. This game features both a fighting game and a fighting game creator, which allows you to creator your own characters. In the creation mode, you can pick from one of the seven characters, and start creating your own character based on the model. You can adjust the character profile, speed, weight, jumping height, attack and defense power, as well as customizing his / her face! After all that is done, you can customize all the standard moves, special moves and super combos of a character, as well as giving each move a unique name and assign the moves to different button commands. During the battles, each character will have a Special Gate meter, when it is full you can launch super combos or custom combo moves (similar to the custom combo in SFZ2).

Namco has released a new set of high resolution images of Tekken Tag Tournament for Playstation 2, a 128-bit upgrade of the their hit System 12 arcade fighting game, check them out.

Square will release Vagrant Story for Playstation on February 10 in Japan, for 6800 yen.

ASCII is working on a new Playstation baseball game called Best Play Pro Baseball, the latest sequel of the classic 8-bit Famicom baseball game, the PS version will be in 3D, featuring real players in the baseball league and updated game data, the game is scheduled to release in Japan next summer, for 5800 yen.

Enix announced their first Playstation 2 title, it is a brand new action movie adventure game called 0 Story, scheduled to release in Japan sometimes next spring. This game will be released in double DVD-ROM set, and support the 8M Memory Card. This is Enix's second attempt in digital movie adventure game (with the first one been Eurasian Express Homicide Incident for Playstation), the story will be performed by famous Japanese idols in Japan. Because of the power of PS2, the process of the game will not be disturbed by the digital movie, making it feels like you are controlling the flow of the movie.

Takara announced that they will release EX Billiards as their Playstation 2 launch title on March 4, 2000. All the aspect of this game will be identical to actual billiard games, including the physics of the ball movements. Other than billiard simulation, this game will also feature many non-standard billiard tables for your enjoyment, such as hexagon or star shaped tables.
