Square has confirmed that they will release the classic RPGChrono Trigger, the classic RPG on Super Famicom on Playstation. It is scheduled to release in fall, the PS version will be identical to the SFC version, with new anime opening and ending movies.

Konami has released new info on International Track & Field 2 for Playstation, the sequel of their popular sports compilation game. This time there will be over 12 different sports in this game, and support up to 4 players simultaneously. The 12 games include 100m dash, weight lifting, canoeing, long jump, cycling, swimming, javelin, middle distance running, springboard diving, gymnastics vault, pole vault, and hammer.

Konami has released new details on their highly anticipated love simulation game Tokimeki Memorial 2 (5-CDs) for Playstation. Scheduled to be released in November. The main character of this game will be a new female character named Hikaru Hinomoto. The whole game will take place in the Hibiki City, a city beside Kirameki where Tokimeki Memorial 1 took place, and all the characters will be brand new. The game system is similar to the previous game, but with a number of changes, such as the a new Emotional Voice System, where the different characters will speak out your name in different emotions. This game will also support PocketStation.

Bandai Visuals has delayed the release of Macross VF-X2 for 1 week from August 26 to September 2 in Japan.

Midway will release the Playstation version of Ready 2 Rumble in November. Playstation version of this boxing game will have additional characters not found in Dreamcast and N64 version.

Enix's president Yasuhiro Fukushima announced that they are expecting to ship 4 million copies of their highly anticipated Playstation RPG Dragon Quest VII -- Warriors of the Eden. Enix has sold over 3.2 million copies of Dragon Quest VI for Super Famicom back in few years ago. Also, the number of Playstation 2 titles that Enix is working on has been increased from 4 to 6 since the last interview with Japanese magazines.

Banpresto has announced that Super Robot War Alpha, the latest sequel of their hit robot war simulation game. This time there will be dozen of new characters from other anime series such as Macross and Evangelion movies.

Koei has released two movies for their Playstation 2 war simulation game "Kessen". Download and watch the opening movie and the battle movie: Kessen Movie #1 , Kessen Movie #2.

Codemasters is working on a new 4x4 offroad racing game called Off The Road, scheduled to release for both PC and Playstation this winter. Unlike other off road racers, this game features large, free terrain areas and a number of play modes that taken advantage of them, such as the Jamboree mode which place gates in random places to block your ways, you have to race to the destination in the shortest time possible.
