The Four Dwarfs Spread

_ _ _ _

This spread represents the four basic
directions, surrounding a center rune.
Follow the basic instructions, and then
mix your runes as usual and draw them,
placing them facedown on the casting cloth.
Place the runes according to the diagram
as if they were the four points on a compass,
with a central fifth point. Position the first
rune at the bottom of the cross, the second
to the left of center, and third above center,
the fourth to the right of center, and the
fifth in the center of the layout. Turn them
over one by one.
