The Career Mirror

Utilizing six runes, the Career Mirror layout helps when you need to make business or career choices and decisions. This rune layout takes the shape of a traditional mirror with a handle. Begin by selecting a question that pertains to your career or business-the question foremost in your mind. While thinking about it, mix the runes for a minute or two, and pull the first six that come, placing them facedown in a horizontal row on the casting cloth. Take the first rune, turning it over as you would the page of a book, and place it at the base of the mirror handle. Turn the second rune faceup and put it above the first, and the third rune, faceup, above the second. Position the fourth rune to the left, the fifth to the right, and the sixth at the top of the mirror-all faceup, as shown in the layout above. Rune #1: The first rune, at the base of the mirror's handle, reflects your current position. Rune #2: The second rune represents the challenge you face. Rune #3: The third rune, which attaches the mirror handle to the mirror, signifies your position of greatest strength and ability. Rune #4: The rune to the left reveals your past perception in regard to the question at hand. Rune #5: The rune to the right denotes your future perception. Rune #6: The rune at the top of the mirror represents the future outcome.
