Some words about "The Wall"

This film was born one night when we were in the mood to make a Quick Movie. The idea was improvised one hour before starting and got developed while shooting, so the plot is not particularly ingenious. It is basicly divided into two parts: a crime and its revenge, only the revenge is performed by the victim himself, who returns from the dead.

The idea was to create a simple and short story in just one site, in front of a wall. The action should never leave this site. Never mind what happened anywhere else. Never mind the reasons for the crime. It is simple and straight like this: there is a crime, the criminal returns to the crime scene, and there he gets punished.

This was the first koboldian film to be released that used artificial light. "Die Nachtträum" was shot before, but it would be edited just in December. This is important to note, because after that all the movies from Kobold would make use of artificial light. For "The Wall" we used photoflood lamps, which garantees a nice white light, and spotlights to create dramatic effects like shadows and silhouettes that introduced both killers.
