What's New At The Sheepfold?

Well so much for New Year's Resolutions - I missed February. I am trying guys, guess I just need to take a moment and regroup to make better use of my time

Lent starts on March 8, 2000 which is Ash Wednesday. The season of Lent is a somber time, as it leads up to Good Friday when Jesus died on the cross to save us from our sins. It is a time of reflection, during Lent we should especially live as "children of the Light".

Remember how I say "God's word is a light to my feet and a lamp to my path." just before reading the story from the Bible each Sunday? Lent is a great time to learn to use that light of the Bible to help us in our journey through life. I want you to start thinking about setting aside a bit of time each day to study the Bible, listen to God's word and live in the Light!
