Happy New Year

It's a New Year and with it come my New Year's Resolutions, one of which is to keep this page updated.

From now until lent, we will be listening to stories of Jesus life; when he was a child and when he was grown up. Did you ever think about Jesus being a child? I wonder what he was like? Did he have many friends? Did he go to school? Did the other kids tease him? Was he ever sad?

Another of my New Year's Resolutions is to get to know Jesus better. Any friendship takes effort and so does our relationship with Jesus. Why don't you make a resolution to get to know Jesus better and try reading your Bible or a story about him each day, and then talk to him about it before you go to bed? It is a friendship beyond anything you can even dream of and is sure worth the effort it will take you.
