Can you believe it is already July? Why is it that summer, with all the wonderful weather and sunshine always seems to go so fast? Alpenfest will be here the middle of the month. I just love going to all the things every night and looking at all the booths and crafts. Is anyone going to be in the walking parade this year?
July 22, 1998 - Just found this website and it looks like fun. Check out Recycle City, it has a lot of information and games. Have you been practicing being "a light shining in the darkness". Show everyone by what you do and how you act that Jesus is an important part of your life and that he is your example. Don't forget to "Collect Smiles." You might change someone's whole day. Worship Center will be starting up again, on Sunday, September 13, 1998. That is the Sunday after Labor Day Weekend. I hope to see on this next Sunday. Have a wonderful week. God gave us such a beautiful and wonderful world. We need to be aware of ways to preserve and protect everything that God has given us. I have included links this month to some sites on recycling and being a "green consumer". Let's work together and try to make our world a better place. Start a list of what we can do, and what you have done over the summer to help our environment. Then in the fall we might write a page for the newsletter to help our congregation get involved.
