Obviously there are going to be people who dont share the same tastes as mine,( which is a day away from traffic, noise, and the hustle and bustle of modern life).I will be adding more...

Brecon    Historic Cathedral Town with canal boat trips and river walks. Ok for children
Brecon Beacons    National Park  Beautiful scenery, reservoirs, and forest.
Brecon Mountain Railway     Ride in one of the "Great little Trains of Wales"  Ok for the children
Bosherton Lily Ponds Beautiful lily ponds in Pembrokeshire with great walks and near a beach
Bwlch Nant Yr Arian    Forest centre with walk trails, wonderful scenic views and wildlife
Caerleon Town     Famous for it's Roman Amphitheatre, and Roman remains. Ok for children
Cardiff City     The Capital city of Wales.
Carmarthen Town    County Town of Carmarthenshire ideal shopping centre for visitors to the area.
Cenarth Falls     Pretty riverside village with an old watermill
Cosmeston Lakes & Country Parks    Lakes, Swans,Ducks, and a Medieval Village. Ok for children
Cwmcarn Forest Drive      Drive along a forest track with picnic areas. Ok for children
Dan-yr Ogof Showcaves    Awesome caves with childrens adventure playground. Great for children
Elan Valley      Area of outstanding beauty with dams and wooded valleys
Folly Farm     Wales' premier farm attraction, Nr Tenby, West Wales. Great for the children   
Goytre Wharf  Pleasant canal walks, and boat hire.
Hay-on-Wye      Pretty little town famous for its' bookshops. Ok for children
Henrhyd Falls     Waterfalls in a wooded Valley.
Laugharne   Town where the poet Dylan Thomas lived, and is now buried
Llancaiach Fawr Manor 17th Century manor complete with ghosts near Nelson Mid Glamorgan
Llandrindod Wells    Famous Victorian Spa Town, worth a visit during the August festival.
Llangorse Lake    Near Brecon is the second largest natural lake in Wales, rich in plant and wildlife
Llantrisant Ancient hill town just off the M4 motorway
Manor Wildlife Park   Lovely animals and gardens, Great for children
Merthyr Mawr     Pretty little village Nr Bridgend Glamorgan also sand dunes  Great for children         
Museum of Welsh Life      Hard to describe in one line, see the page.  ok for children 
Rhondda Heritage Park Ever wanted to visit an old Welsh coal mine? Now you can!   Ok for children 
Techniquest     Great fun for the family, at the U.Ks largest science discovery centre.   Great for children
Tintern Abbey    Ruins of 11th century Abbey on the banks of the River Wye, Nice pub too!
Tredegar House Take a guided tour of a 17th century mansion set in 90 acres of parkland, Ok for children
