Hay-On-Wye is a small town on the border of Wales and England. The town is world famous for its bookshops.
Nearly every other shop in Hay is a book shop, but there are also some nice antique shops, and you must visit the Teddy bear and Jigsaw puzzle shop which is one of my favourites.
One of the largest book shops is "Booths" where you should find a book on any subject that interests you.
There are some nice pubs and places to eat. There is a large pay and display car park with good toilet facilities and an information centre,
where you can obtain a guide to the book shops in the town. I have given below some accomodation telephone numbers. I have stayed at The Kilvert, which was very good.
