Located on the South Eastern side of the Castle Martin Peninsular, Bosherton with its old church and cafe, has become famous for its lily ponds.They were formed in the 18th / 19th centuries by blocking three narrow limestone valleys to form shallow lakes fed by clear spring water.
As well as being noted for its Otters, waterfowl.and lilies, the ponds are well stocked with Pike, Tench, perch, Roach and Eels. Fishing permits are available at The Olde Worlde cafe, Bosherton, pictured below.
There are lovely walks around the ponds crossing a variety of little bridges as you go, or follow a pathway down to the beach at Broadhaven South
