| The town has a range of shops, a museum and some good pubs one of the oldest being the Llanerch Arms which you will find near the station. I remember sampling one of the locally brewed beers in the Llanerch, and luckily I was staying at the pub and didnt have far to walk! There are some interesting places to visit one of them being the Rock Park and Spa where the famous spa water was taken for its health giving properties. Or perhaps take a stroll up to the lake for a coffee and refreshments in the Lakeside cafeteria overlooking this peaceful lake with its swans ducks and wild life. There is also coarse fishing available |

| The county town of Powys since 1974 Llandrindod has in recent years become very popular with visitors from all over the U.K. One of the reasons being its strong connections with the Victorian period. Even today the buildings still retain the architecture of that period in our history, and in the last full week in August before the bank holiday the town reverts back to 1800s during the Victorian festival which is growing in popularity. Visit Llandrindod during this week and you will find most of the local people dressed up in the costume of the period. |
