Tredegar House
            and Park
Set in 90 acres of parkland,Tredegar House is a fine example of a 17th century Charles the 2nd mansion, parts of the house even dating back to the 1500s. Take a guided tour of the staterooms and the servants quarters below stairs and you can get a feel of what life was like in those early days. Great for the gentry upstairs, but not too good for the servants below,( the parlour maid being paid about 10 per year!)
There is a gift shop, The Brewhouse where you can have a cooked meal and refreshments.

In the grounds you will find a boating lake, woodland walks a childrens playground, and plenty of space for the kids to kick a ball.
