...i guess everyone is...these days...
...anyway...at a bonfire last sunday...i got to talk with some science alumni...and apparently for a while now they have been planning a grand alumni homecoming...to celebrate our alma mater's 40th anniversary...they invited me to a meeting last monday....
...the grand reunion is on november 29 at the ub campus...there will be a lunch...an alumni meeting in the afternoon...and a dinner to honor the faculty in the evening...the registration fee is P500...
...letty texted that she will be up here on that day...sana all the others who can make it show up too...para masaya...we can also announce our own class reunion...
...the next meeting of the organizing committee is next monday...at iggy's place...south drive...
...will report the minutes of that meeting...

hey nel if you come again give me a call, so we can chat. hope you can schedule meetings here in the east coast or better yet in virginia beach.
tom tried several times calling you before you left but you're always out. good to know you and you're darlings had fun.
dinah you did not lose any single strand of technology being a stay home mom, you actually gained the benefit . more power to you i hope I could do the same.
arnel have you seen carmen's family lately, i still don't know her number in new york. do me a favor if you can call joy she might know cause they work together before carmen came. tried calling joy but her cell was out. you're doing a good job updating the group. keep it up.

to the classmates,
this is manny, thanks for your continuing concern. With God's help I am doing ok but still completing my treatment sessions. maybe i cannot attend this year's reunion but i could help in many other ways..sabihin ninyo lang. iwould suggest the preparation of a souvenipr program so that we could all be updated -family oriented one. Henry is ok and always reads the postings. Maanne has always been but I have failed to reply due to my schedule. Maane-thanks.

manny good to know you're up and beating all the odds keep it up dear brother. we are there for you.
a family souvenier as manny suggest is a great idea, if evreybody cansend in family pics and updates just like a yearbook call it perspective 2003. i know this would take time and effort to gather all data but hey we are class '73 science hi graduates, we have all the brains and manpower. what do you say dear friends?
just like manny i would not be able to attend the reunion, but as i have said let me know what i can do. i hopefully would be seeing you all in april if God willing.
till then friends keep posting. hey art how's netherlands? give us a buzz okey.

...yesterday vivien...evie...dinah...doc howard...nates...ruben and i...met at the venue of our reunion...hotel tepeyac...
...breaking news...there was a coup de etat...i was removed from my position as the finance chairman of the reunion committee...by the doc...vivien was volunteered as the head of the secretariat...and buddy remained as the the president/dictator for life...
...i am sure vivien will be posting the formal minutes of our meeting...but here is the informal version...
...26 december...friday...at about 5pm...we will be welcoming all of you at the bonfire grounds of hotel tepeyac...there will be registration...bonfire...informal talks on our plans for next year...etc...
...27 december...saturday...9am...will be the unveiling of our project at the ub science high building...a lighted marquee...was proposed...then we will all drive back to hotel tepeyac...there will be some retrospection...more structured meetings and talking...lunch...presentations...singing...dinner...tribute to our teachers...
...28 december...sunday...would now be a free day...if we would still want to meet...
...we are planning to come up with a souvenir progamme...with the messages from our teachers...our past and current pictures...ruben and i were assigned to prepare this...
...we would need the pictures of nates and brenda...taken sometime in 1973...so we can insert them in our class picture...ruben says this could be done...
...nates will be in charge of the streamer...and we all agreed that the streamer should read...WELCOME UB SCIENCE HIGH BOLSHEVIK CLASS '73...
...we will be opening a bank account for our class under the names of howard and vivien...they have given 5000 each to open the account...we will be posting the account number next time so those who would wish to contribute can do so...so how about it pio...general...tom...art...etc...

...met with vivien and howie last week...and as agreed upon previously...they each gave five thousand pesos to start our class '73 bank account...here it is PSBank Baguio branch...Acct No. 101-11102471-4...in the name of our secretary...vivien...and our new finance director...howie...
...so how about it guys...keep your contributions coming...the pesos...the dollars...and art...the euros...and with vivs and howie taking care of our funds...they sure will be in good hands...
...saw mrs. ruff yesterday with joseph...she told me she will be the one to give the response for all the science high faculty members who will be honored on saturday...she told my companion that she was so strict during our high school days...that we used to call her daw old witch...so i corrected her and told her we never called her a witch...and she told me it must be her students from brent...she then asked me what we called her behind her back...i said...mama joy...sipsip talaga 'no...
...okay...that's all for now...hope to see some of you during the grand ub science high alumni reunion on saturday...and for those who can't make it...see you december 26...

thanks u guys in baguio!! now we have an account, we have also paid an advance on hotel tepeyac and all that needs to be done is make sure that we maximize the attendance of our classmates.

can we have a raising of hands who will be able to make it?? Please add those u have talked to but are not logged on to this forum. This is so we can predict how many will actually be there. im surely gonna be there!!

p.s. the program looks ok with me. i suggest we make the Saturday dinner the focal point of our reunion. another item: does anyone have a digital camera we can use? i think we can take pictures during the affair then hire someone with a computer with a cd burner and burn the cds right there and then. We will then each have a cd to commemorate the occasion. what say u guys??
