This is a guide for those who know they aren't good and want to learn to be better. If you think you are good but you really suck, please leave. Experience and a good record does not determine how good you are. Here you will find how to use advanced units, their abilities, and countering other races. You will even find out basic things you never realized before. Follow this guide and you will be on your way to becoming a real master. Terms used in this guide: -Drone - refers to terran scv, zerg drone, and protoss probe. -Advanced Unit - Arbiter, Science Vessel, Queen, Defiler, etc. and everything else that requires precise control to use. -Newbie - a player that never bothers to use advanced unit abilities or does not know what the abilities are good for. -Expert - a player that uses all units and uses all abilities skillfully. -Brute Force - Massing up on one unit and using suicide tactics. Extremely ineffective against experts. Each of the race strategy choices have more sections inside. Here are what they are as follows: -Advanced Units - Here is the most important one. You will learn about advanced units. These are the units the require skill to use. Includes ways to counter the units. -Special Abilities - Explains all the special abilities and how to use them effectively. Most people don't use seige tanks correctly. It is a precision unit you are not supposed to let sit and attack on its own. You may be surprised. -Upgrading - Tells which are the best upgrades and which you should get first. -Offense - The essence of attacking in this race. -Defense - The essence of defending in this race. -Anti-rush - The very basic anti rush formations. -Building Positions - Ways of placing buildings that will help you in some way. -Build Orders - Self explanatory. The very beginnings are extremely specific to when you should build drones. As more time passes, since does not everyone play exactly the same, the moments to build drones will be up to you. Generally, keep building them and put up a building as soon as you have the cash. -Advanced Tactics - Tells the advanced tactics of the race. Some you know, some you don't. -Defense Breaking - Come here to learn how to penetrate even the most well built expert defenses and the annoying newbie defenses (emphasis on terran defense). -Counter - Provides information on how to counter other units from all 3 races and their tactics like tank push or swarm. |
