Delia & Roger
Delia Reid Ryan Coleridge Crane and Roger Coleridge are sitting in a dark restaurant, chatting while Roger pours wine into two glasses. Roger says something in French concerning the win, and Delia comments that she just loves it when he speaks French. The two laugh, and Roger comments that he just loves the restaurant...it's rustic and charming. Delia agrees: "It's very quaint. It's the perfect place to execute a plot!" They talk about how great it feels to ruin an enemy -- according to Delia, "It's like doing something great for mankind!" Delia then tells him what she wants more than anything is...him. She feels that maybe their relationship is just meant to be.
Ryan & Chaz
Meanwhile, Ryan Fenelli storms into Chaz Saybrook's apartment. Chaz tells her he wasn't expecting her -- the doorman, Felix, hadn’t announced her arrival. Ryan tells him that was her point in coming up to his apartment -- if the doorman didn't notice her, maybe he didn’t notice Emily leaving and the murderer entering on the day Richard Rowan was found murdered in the apartment?
Lizzie & Ben
In yet another apartment, Lizzie Ransome is in awe as Ben Shellby holds out an engagement ring. He asks her to marry him. Lizzie just stares at Ben in complete shock.
Lizzie Ben
Lizzie asks if Ben is serious, and he assures her he is -- he loves her and wants to share everything that he has with her. He wants them to have a future, and if they get married, she can get custody of Owen from John Reid Ryan. Lizzie tells Ben he shouldn’t do it just for her, but also for himself. He reassures her that he’s really being selfish, because he really wants her for himself. Lizzie smile, and they hug. Ben once again asks her if she’ll marry him; Lizzie tells him that before she can do so, he has to understand that their marriage won’t get John out of their lives. After all, he is still Owen’s father. Ben assures her that he won’t let John get in-between them. He tells her he’ll do the best he can to support her and Owen, even if it means painting at night while he works at the construction site during the day. However, he also tells her they may be living in style soon, because a very prominent businessman has taken a likening to Ben’s paintings. Once again, Ben asks Lizzie to marry him, and she finally accepts.
Chaz Ryan
Back at Chaz’s apartment, Ryan and Chaz continue to go over the Rowan murder mystery. They recap the murder:

On the afternoon of the murder, Chaz came home first, followed by Emily and Jack; Jack left soon afterwards, with Chaz leaving right after Jack to go to the cleaners. Emily claims to have panicked about meeting Richard again so she left. However, Felix claims to have not seen Emily leave, and Emily claims to not have seen Felix at his post. After Emily left, Zena came upstairs unannounced (per Chaz’s instructions) and knocked on the door, but there was no answer. After Zena left, Felix announced Richard Rowan’s arrival. There had been construction going on next door to the building, so the person in the apartment (the murderer) wouldn’t have heard Zena’s knock nor would anyone be able to hear the gunshot.

Both Ryan and Chaz agree there’s a gap in the story. Felix announced Richard Rowan, but to whom? No one was in the apartment, after all. Ryan asks Chaz about the type of person Felix is. Chas tells her he is a very snobbish person who takes his job very seriously. If he had left his post, he definitely wouldn’t admit it to anyone. He’d rather die than let anyone know he wasn’t doing his job!

Delia Roger
Meanwhile, back at the restaurant, Delia asks Roger if they’re flirting. Roger tells her that they’re not, which disappoints Delia. He reminds Dee that the reason they’re together at dinner is because they’re planning Dakota’s comeuppance, not to rekindle their personal fires. They’re a team, but they’re not going to be sharing a bed anytime soon. She asks him if he was jealous of Dakota when she was with him, and Roger tells her of course he was -- he was disgusted how someone so un-classy could abuse the privilege of being intimate with her.
Delia & Roger
Roger tells Dee that he misses Maggie (whom he still loves), Olivia, and Jillian a great deal. Dee tells him she doesn’t think it was right for Maggie to take Olivia to the other side of the world; it’ll be traumatic for the baby. Roger reminds her that Maggie felt it would be even more traumatic for Olivia not to have a mother. He also tells Dee that Maggie won’t be coming back with Olivia until at least Easter, but he doesn’t know if he’ll be able to wait until then…he might go to Australia himself. Dee tells him he shouldn’t go to her home turf on his hands and knees for her forgiveness. Once again, he reminds her that he is planning on sticking by Maggie and his daughter, and that she should accept that. Delia is a bit miffed, and reminds him she short of got Maggie and Roger back together again after their affair; she delivered the baby and all! Roger reminds her there wouldn’t have been an affair if she hadn’t been determined to get him back. Dee and Roger get off the topic and discuss the fact that no matter how terrible they can be at times, they still manage to get along pretty well.
Chaz & Ryan Felix the Doorman
Felix the Doorman enters Chaz’s apartment, and Chaz introduces Ryan to him. Felix tells them he can’t be there for long; someone is filling-in for him for a few minutes. Felix begins to get uneasy when Ryan starts asking him questions about the possibility of Emily leaving and the murderer entering the building without him noticing. He tells them it could’ve been possible; sometimes he helps deliver packages throughout the building. Chaz asks him if he always has someone fill-in for him. Felix tells him that he’s only been doing that since Richard Rowan’s death.
Chaz, Felix, & Ryan Ryan & Chaz hug
Ryan asks the doorman if he heard the voice of a man or a woman when he announced the arrival of Richard Rowan. The doorman sadly tells Ryan he’s not sure if he really did announce Rowan’s arrival…he isn’t quite sure. Ryan and Chaz quickly realize this might be the break they’ve needed. If Richard was able to slip-in without being announced, it’s very possible that Emily left and the murderer entered without anyone noticing. Ryan asks Felix if he himself thinks this could be possible; Felix finally breaks down and confesses he was away from the door quite a bit that day, because there was a substitute mailman who was getting the packages all mixed-up. Ryan and Chaz become ecstatic and ask him to tell the police. After a bit of convincing, Felix agrees to go speak to the police.
Ben & Lizzie
Back at the other apartment, Ben slips the ring on Lizzie’s finger. They hug happily, and Ben tells her he feels like announcing their engagement to everyone in the entire world. "Starting with John..." she whispers.
