Hetty Pegler's Tump

A.K.A the Uley Barrow, Hetty Pegler's Tump is a chambered neolithic long barrow. It is 120 feet in length, 85 feet in its widest part and 10 feet high at the entrance.
'The name Hetty Pegler derives from one of the 17th-century owners of the field in the tump is located: Hester and Henry Pegler. Hester died in 1694, and Henry in 1695.' (Earth Mysteries Website)
