Make a Stone Circle

Create a sacred space to honour the circle of life and your place in it with your own stone circle. Select seven stones, one each for the four directions, one for Mother Earth, one for the spirit and one for the self. You can use stones as large as you like. From tiny ones to large (Stonehenge type ones).

How to Make a Stone Circle:

Step 1

Bless and place the direction stones first, beggining with the east. Each of the directions has its own symbolism and energy.

Step 2

Bless each stone before you lay it in place. Put the three remaining stones inside the circle formed by the four direction stones.

Step 3

The complete stone circle can be used as an altar: as a place to pray, and give thanks and gain insights into the progression of your life path.

Blessing Examples:

Blessed Be the elements of the East, elements of the air. Bless this stone with your sacred energy.

Blessed Be the elements of the South, elements of the fire. Bless this stone with your sacred energy.

Blessed Be the elements of the West, elements of the water. Bless this stone with your sacred energy.

Blessed Be the elements of the North, elements of the Earth. Bless this stone with your sacred energy.

Great Mother I place this stone here to honour you and thank you for the gifts that you give, Blessed Be.

I give thanks to the spirit of nature of which I am a part of. I see the bond between us all. Blessed Be.

I recogonise my indivduality as part of the greater whole, I give thanks for all things that come to me. Blessed Be.
