The Wiccan Mysteries by Raven Grimassi
The Wiccan Mysteries contains a wealth of knowledge about the history and mythologies of modern day Wicca. However, at the start of the book the author gives the impression that he looks down of solitary/eclectic Wiccans.
If you are interested in the history behind Wicca this is one of the books that should be on your bookshelf. It goes into great detail about different aspect of the Craft and traces the origins quite far back into history. It also gives great information on how society moved from a matriarchy to a patriarchy.
Lots of great and interesting information.
