Ion Pulse Propulsion
This Propulsion system uses the Ionic Discharge in focused pulse of energy to propel a mobile suit, or ship along its designated path. With the presence of a physical fuel not necessary, this type of propulsion proves to be very affective for Impulse speeds. However, the technology is fairly new, and needs refinement.

Plasma Propulsion
There are two types of plasma propulsion engines. There are the type that releases plasma like a rocket would, using the heat to propel the suit/ship along, however in space that isn't possible. Then there's the type that uses anti-matter to cause a chain reaction and push the ship along through the space. The former is older than the latter. The latter, also needs much refinement to become more efficient.
