Mobility Systems

Myomer Control & Coordination System
Myomers are composites that flex and contract according to how much electrical current is forced through them. With advances in Nano-Technology, these fibers, when coiled together, become a great asset to a mobile suit. Construction of a mobile suit, with a myomer muscular frame, is exponentially more mobile in ground combat. The downfall to this, is the increased mass that accompanies construction, making flight a more difficult process.

Linear Control & Coordination System
The linear mobility system functions much like the linear and rail gun. It uses magnetic rails inside of hydraulic tubes to push and pull much like the myomer muscular frame above. These are not as efficient as the Myomers, however, they are much lighter and do not need as much thrust to achieve flight. These are usually used upon flight models.

Hydraulic Control & Coordination System
This uses pistons and air or water or oil, in a pressurized tube to move the suit around. The Air or Water or oil is pushed into the tube, causing the piston to move with the pressure, and thusly move the arms and legs of the suit in that manner. However, the movement is limited, and slower. These are used on less costly models, usually used for export.
