Treaties

Neverwinter's Agreements

Neverwinter doesn't have alot of allies. General Blackwolf has had a past of occupying other nations and destroying other nations just to further his own goals. Though General Blackwolf has changed greatly as he has grown in the past three years, the impression he has left in the world has made him a marked man, and any who ally themselves with him, will be marked as well. Following will be a few of Neverwinter's Allies and Enemies.

Alliances

North American Federation (NAF)

In the past, Neverwinter has had its share of conflicts with the North American Federation. Neverwinter "liberated" the Hawaiian Islands, Panama, and Puerto Rico from the NAF in their initial invasion of the earth sphere. Since then, however slowly, relations have improved as NAF came to Neverwinter for protection against the NOVA military forces after the Invasion of the Middle Eastern Confederation, and Far East Alliance. To insure each other's holdings and sovereignty against the Impending Nova Threat. Neverwinter, being the more powerful of the two, in its arrogance made certain demands of the North American Federation. Neverwinter Demanded at least 25 Bases within the central areas of the NAF. The NAF agreed to this only after demanding that Neverwinter agree to a Restricted Access to Airspace and other territories throughout the NAF in a maritime situation.

The Terms are as Follows:

  • 25 Neverwinter Bases In America
  • Restricted Access to Airspace and Territory

For:

  • Full Military Alliance
  • Trade Pact
  • Access to certain Neverwinter technologies.
  • Neverwinter Modernization of NAF's MS Arsenal.

ESUN Refugees/Middle-Eastern Confederation Refugees/Far-Eastern Alliance Refugees

Fragments of the various units that comprised the military forces of these nations, as well as high ranking military and political officials have all come to Neverwinter and the NAF for Political Asylum. NOVA, naturally hunts these officials, so that none may claim legal rights to their holdings in the future. Of these refugees include Mariemaia Khusnrenada, Lady Une, and Sally Po, very powerful names within the ESUN. Neverwinter has gone through great trouble, to help reequip and reorder many of the fragmented units, to use them for defense against the NOVA Invasion. Still, many civilian refugees continually escape the NOVA controlled lands, making their way towards the only safe area left in the world.

  • There are no terms to this Alliance, though Neverwinter is going above and beyond the call of duty to reorganize the former military forces.

Harbringer Military Force/Harbringer Military Industries

In AC 211 a former member of Neverwinter Corps resigned his comission in the Military and created a splinter group based in outer space. Using an abandoned resource satellite that had not yet been disposed of, Andrew Strife established the Headquarters for the Harbringer Military Forces and the weapons manufacturing company Harbringer Military Industries. From here Strife made a fortune selling bargain, and yet quality military technologies to rogue MS pilots who had gone mercenary. Neverwinter, though having many disagreements with this organiztaion, considers this organization a friend. No formal treaty has been signed, but Harbringer has never been known to turn Neverwinter down, and are considered strong allies.

  • There are no terms to this Alliance

Steel Dragons (SD)

The Steel Dragons were lead by a former Neverwinter Major who left of his own accord. Major Strife, or now General Daj Strife, Left Neverwinter to make his own mark upon the world. After the destruction of his Camaro, Strife went insane, well, the rest of the way, and allowed his hatred for General Blackwolf to Seeth. After harboring the former Gundam Elite commander Kevin Stryker, after he made an attempt on General Blackwolf's life, Neverwinter Declared war.

Recently, the Dragons have returned to the Sol System after a 3 year isolation in the Tyranus system. They have returned bearing a 'gift' known as "Dragons' Essence." Which grants newtype abilities to oldtypes, at the cost of addiction. It has been confirmed that the Dragons are now lead by Kenji Strife. Kenji has agreed to join the coalition against NOVA, and are now considered Allies of Neverwinter.

Neutrals

The following are nations that have neither allied themselves nor professed vendetta's against Neverwinter.

Maxwell Industries/Circle of Elites (Japan)

Relations between Neverwinter Corps and Maxwell Industries have always been sketchy. On one hand, the exteemed leader of Maxwell Industries holds a great deal of respect for General Blackwolf, as an engineer, mobile suit pilot, and as a military leader. On the other hand, this respect has lead to a heated competition between Neverwinter and Maxwell Industries, in those various aspects. This has hampered all attempts by both organizations to agree to a formal alliance.

Geist Corporation/Geist Corps (Austrailia)

In the days of secrecy, Geist Corporation used to be almost completely under the control of Legacy International, the civilian corporation behind Neverwinter Corps. As one of their subsidiaries this organization provided Legacy and Neverwinter with a cash influx that allowed for their arms buildup. Soon after Neverwinter was unveiled to the world, Shogo Geist, CEO of this branch of Legacy, would set his own plans in motion. Using a vast fortune he had accumulated from this job, he bought out all of the Giest Corporation Stock, and broke off from Legacy and Neverwinter. From here he began stockpiling arms himself, basing his Organization out of Austrailia.

Miscellaneous

The various miscellaneous neutrals that exist around the earth sphere are numberous pacific islands, and a heafty number of colonies and colony groups that consider themselves one.

Enemies

NOVA

Not much is known about the Organization known as NOVA. Every attempt to plant intelligence agents into their organization has ended in failure. Their origins are unknown though, reports from within the ESUN, when they first emerged, suggested that they were a group sponsored by a handful of Romefeller members, to further their own political goals within the earth sphere, giving them reason to rearm and retake the world.

Currently they control areas of the world that were once controlled by the Former-ESUN, Far-Eastern Alliance, Middle-Eastern Confederation, and Africa. They have recently struck out against Neverwinter, taking over various bases, including the Kaoshiung and Lake Victoria Rail Launchers, and the Israeli bases. The North American Territories, though spread thin, still remain untouched, but there are suspicions that an attack is eminent. NOVA holds no space holdings that Neverwinter has knowledge of, but fleets are being prepared on Earth for launch to rectify this problem.
